I have the Alma and the vachetta came untreated. I used collonil leather gel on the whole bag and it’s in great condition. I love the colours. I saw the toiletry pouch on the website, it could be a nice clutch 😊

Thank you. I’ve used several times yes, I did a small patch on the leather strap before deciding to treat the whole bag. It didn’t darken the vachetta at all but it has been caught in the rain a couple of times and it’s definitely not waterproof. Theres a little bit of the typical stain that you find over time but I’ve learned to accept it’s part of my bags character 🙂 My main worry was colour transfer from darker clothing and I’m pleased that this hasn’t happened at all.

Deb, I’m only an inch or so taller and just picked up the new denim Carryall PM. I’m 95% sure I’ll keep it and don’t see it having the downsides you experienced with the Hobo PM. Not sure if you’re interested, but since it’s a somewhat similar style I thought I’d put this out there!

Hi Deb! No, I ended up realizing that I am too OCD with my bags for the light denim.
I can’t even imagine having one of the new pink denim bags (although I think they are so pretty!).
Are you considering a denim carryall? It really is a beautiful bag.

Oh wow, hadn't considered what maintenance might be like. I would love to get my hands on one though and I love the pink as well.
