Do we know what the new colors of the Vernis that are going to be released?

I also agree about the denim. I feel like it feels too casual/ not special / not a luxury fabric to command the price. Especially in just the normal denim blue color. Maybe if it was a unique color or had a unique treatment to the fabric to make it more special.

Instead of trying to price out the “common man” by raising prices to make the brand more out of reach I think efforts would be better spent by LVMH to stop the counterfeiting. Nothing burns me more than seeing fakes alllll over the place. Ads on IG selling replicas for $200. 🤬

I’ve been thinking about the denim release and wondering if anyone here has any experience with the denim sac a dos backpack from 2005-6??? I’d love to hear any thoughts on that bag especially the larger one . I’ve been thinking about a vintage one

I had that bag and it was very slouchy, with no real shape and no interior support. When my things were inside and I carried it like a true sac a dos, the contents would sag and lean outward causing most of the weight to settle under the exterior pocket area (if u can visualize that). I still have my original Denim Bleu Baggy PM (2006 price ~ $1350) and Denim Bleu Speedy 30 (2006 price ~ $1650) , as well as the denim noir agenda (2006 price ~ $300), all 3 still mint, pristine. I knew this trend would boomerang back. I sold my Denim Sac a Dos , Cabby PM and Fusia Baggy GM years ago and don't miss them (well, maybe the fusia GM...).
The only other LV denim sac a dos I would say offered more support in terms of carry was a Palm Springs mini (with red straps) that was shaped and IMO holds up better in terms of denim backpacks, but that only came in the multi patchwork colors.

When my things were inside and I carried it like a true sac a dos, the contents would sag and lean outward causing most of the weight to settle under the exterior pocket area (if u can visualize that). I still have my original Denim Bleu Baggy PM (2006 price ~ $1350) and Denim Bleu Speedy 30 (2006 price ~ $1650) , as well as the denim noir agenda (2006 price ~ $300), all 3 still mint, pristine. I knew this trend would boomerang back. I sold my Denim Sac a Dos , Cabby PM and Fusia Baggy GM years ago and don't miss them (well, maybe the fusia GM...).
The only other LV denim sac a dos I would say offered more support in terms of carry was a Palm Springs mini (with red straps) that was shaped and IMO holds up better in terms of denim backpacks, but that only came in the multi patchwork colors.

thank you so much for this very helpful response. i suspected this might be the case because years ago a friend had and sold a baggy and it was pretty limp. i think , based upon your experience, i would also find the backpack too sloppy. i tend to like speedies and palm springs type backpacks . i also have a bosphore that i love. i don't think the denim sac a dos would be a good choice for me and i can't thank you enough for explaining all of that : ) glad you kept your other denim beauties because now you are all set and you won't have to deal with what i think are ridiculously high price points for this release. thanks again : )
