Well Bumbles I am considering getting this PO...it's too cute and i love the purple lining
That’s great! I’m thinking it will be a great piece to use, always happy and cartoon like, if you know what I mean in a good way ;) and we both love cartoons so it’s perfect! I think it’s launching end of the month, so preorders should be open now. How is your decision coming with the alma bb Kusama? Either one will be great in your collection, but me personally I think the multi coloured dots look more cute on the nano noe. Looking forward to what you end up getting.

Aww Bumbles you are always so sweet and give support to strengthen my decision
Preorders for the comics collection is open. A friend of my friend paid for the PO this afternoon.

In terms of the Kusama items, I still have not made up my mind yet. One moment I want the nano noe, the next moment I think of the Alma. So I will give myself more time to think carefully.

How are you enjoying the Kusama kirigami? Would you recommend it? I like it but don’t know what I would use it for. What do you use it for if you don’t mind me asking. Or how? Thanks
The Kirigami set only arrived a few days ago so I haven’t had the chance to use them yet. To be honest I wasn’t sure about them at first because they are my first Epi leather pieces and I think theh feel less luxe compared to other leather goods. However I do love the print, and think they are great value for a Kusama piece so will keep them :) I also really want something of this collection!

I’m most excited to use the medium yellow one as a wallet of sorts - I use a similar Coach pouch as a wallet currently and it works for me. The small red I will use as a cardholder in my mini bags, and the large black as a catch all/ organizer or even a clutch!

I bought a conversion kit for my other kirigami set and use them as handbags.

I absolutely love this! What other pieces does this style come in, does anyone know? What is this collection called? Is it available on the US site? Thanks. Sorry for all the questions.
This collection is called Monogram Comics.

I LOVE YOU. Yes, I try to explain modern art and contemporary art to too many ppl and they still don't understand me.

I also think twister dots is more commercial. After all, it's a simple concept and the derivative of all art forms. From a dot, to a line, to shape...etc.

What concerns me is how the dots are constructed of. I understand LV tries to imitate an actual paint on canvas dot (3D), but when applied to malleable canvas and subjected to daily use, how will the dots fare? Crack, discolor, peel, or get sticky over time?

I hate the price tags on these items, but to me, I'm committed to owning a piece of contemporary art and luxury brand.
Studied fine arts in uni, and I always ask people to clarify “modern” art/design, as in what time period/decade they are referring to. Otherwise, I end up confused by the conversation lol I understand why it happens, because by dictionary definition, ”modern” can mean today.

After seeing the painted dots in person, they really remind me of PU/vinyl/faux patented leather -the stuff toddler’s bags are made of. I think they will hold up fine over the years. Definitely would not want to clean the canvas and dots with anything harsher than water and a tiny dollop of gentle soap, if soap is really needed.

LV made the collection so large, that any “value” has been greatly diminished, imo. It’s kind of like Picasso’s works. He was such a prolific artist, that a Picasso sketch isn’t worth as much/isn’t as valuable as one may think. I don’t think LV is justified in the markup they are charging. I like art, and I like luxury, but I’m going to be as picky, or pickier, with this collection.

They're finally here!!! Really love how light the neonoe is . I was debating on returning it but I'm leaning towards keeping it now. I still want those flaming potato heads in wave 2 though!

Congrats on the Noè! This bag is so adorable. I’ve been talking to myself going back-and-forth… how do you intend to use this bag? I was hoping it could be a daily but my planner sticks out a bit at the top and it bothers me that I’m finding it a bit too small. So I’m trying to talk myself into another purpose for needing this +$3000 bag.

I’m looking to add a soft trunk to my collection and I am digging how outlandish this one is. It’s between this or tracking down the taurillon illusion that Virgil did. Which would you guys choose? Opinions please.
