My cookie charm arrived with Chinese New Year “packaging”! I was extra excited to see my cookie charm after seeing the nice package but soon am disappointed after seeing the cookie charm. I’m not sure if it’s meant to be but there are areas with very faint monogram prints and some almost non existence prints around the charm.. and also the charm is heavy, not that I mind it. I’m not sure if I should try exchanging and whether the print is supposed to be like that in the first place.

Wow. It is very nicely done. The glazing is perfect all around. I too, would be worried about the faint print. The monogram is SO faint. What happens when it starts to patina, will all the prints go away?

I have received my Kusama key pouch and black/white bandeau but only have time to unbox my key pouch. I like the dots on the key pouch, it’s really nice! Other than that, the overall structure as well as the zipper area are not the best but acceptable. Comparing to my mono and Xmas key pouch, they are overall structured nicer. I can deal with it BUT then I see this whitish part which I initially thought it’s glue and then realized it’s a tiny loose thread. I can deal with the tiny loose thread BUT then I see the part beside the thread has some missing glazing.. this I don’t think I can deal considering the price is almost 2x the mono version. So I contacted my CA and she will arrange an exchange for me. What a bummer! I don’t like exchanging things as going through the hassle doesn’t guarantee a better piece. Just hoping for the best and hope I will receive a nice one from my exchange..

I think your replacement looks fine. No one is going to inspect your key pouch that closely. Plus, eventually with use they all become scratched anyway. You should see my key pouch with all the scratches on the hardware.

I love your fortune cookie charm. It's so cute with the CNY packaging. I want to get one.

I finally have one of the Kusama pieces in my possession! I know this collection hasn’t been the most popular, but i love it. Even if this wasn’t connected to Kusama but just a Dots collection, I love how playful the multicolored dots and the red and yellow infinity dot pieces are. The monochrome men’s collection is very cool too.

Thursday night, I ordered the Kirigami set from the website. I went into the store on Saturday to see the pieces in person and I was having a hard time choosing between the yellow alma bb and the multi-colored dots pochette metis. I went with the yellow alma. Unfortunately, I couldn’t take home their piece on display so my CA ordered it for me. Then over the past few days, I kept thinking about the pochette metis. This particular piece must not be selling well because according to the website, just about every store in North America has one available in store. But that doesn’t really matter to me. So yesterday morning, I ordered it off the website with free overnight shipping and it just arrived 30 min ago. I love it so much. I’m so excited to wear it this summer. I’m excited to for the YK items coming my way soon too, but I’m very happy to finally have one that’s home with me.

And yes the fortune cookie charm is very cute and worth it! It’ll be perfect if the print is better. Also you might think they hid a small piece of gold inside, considering the weight!

Yay! It will go nicely in your mini pochette collection. Have you decided if your going to get nano noe or alma bb kusama yet? And ordering the comic po? So many choices aye? It’s like a delayed Christmas. But all these goodies for lunar new year is just as great! Can’t wait to see it

The lunar new year packaging is so pretty. And the fortune cookie is adorable. Sorry to hear abt the monogram print though. LV quality control is not great these days. What are you going to do?

I have decided to keep the key pouch and exchange the cookie charm. I found a tiny cut (you can literally feel the cut) and mark (visually) on it. I apologized to my CA and told her not to strangle me for asking for exchange again, although it’s a different item. She’s out training today and will update me when she’s back in office.

Sorry that this happened to you. I agree, both the mark (very visible) and cut (no-Go) are unacceptable. Keeping fingers crossed for you to get a better item!

It's good you're doing an exchange. Perhaps you can also ask your CA to examine the next piece, make sure it's in perfect condition and if possible with a heavier imprint.

But overall I think the cookie charm is adorable.

You’re not picky at all. Don’t doubt yourself. You need to check your goods and make sure the quality is right. And most of all, you need to be happy with what you buy. Whether it be a T-shirt, shoes or a handbag. Make yourself happy and don’t settle. I would do exactly the same. I can see what you mean by the fortune cookie mark and cut. Definitey exchange it for another one. I hope they can get you another one and that it is perfect. The fortune cookie is too cute to miss out so finger crossed you get another one.
