Hi! Did anyone have any luck with Colormania items in dark violet / purple? I was able to pre-order and get a card holder, but I had no luck with the Emilie wallet with purple interior which I was DYING to get. My SA pre-ordered it for me in October and it was just cancelled this week. :( Just curious if anyone was able to get the Emilie wallet or other items in violet!

I don’t think it’s in production, I check LV websites in some region and I only see yellow and blue interior

Lucky you, deciding between these two...two gorgeous bags!...This is so hard...I would ask myself where I will be wearing them, would the huge LV logo bother me? But I love the flower on the handle... Is Chanel for more matured women? Would that age me? Which bag will last longer? Are these bags timeless pieces? Can I imagine wearing this LV or Chanel in 5 years?

what a lovely dilemma to have, lucky you! My personal choice would be the LV capucines just because it suits my style more. Don’t forget you can wear the flap out to cover the logo or wear the bag backward with the logo facing your body if you ever want to be more discreet and still have easy access to the inner contents of the purse. I also prefer LV taurillon leather over caviar. Again my personal opinion, I like the feel (and look) of smooth lamb skin on Chanel quilted bags better than the caviar. Both are lovely bags though. Let us know what you decide.

You made an interesting point about covering the logo with the flap, I personally did not know this. Thanks for sharing!
