I kinda wonder if they listened to feedback from the last denim release, since I seem to recall a lot of posters were pining for the 2000s version. My memory may be faulty, though! I know I was squarely in that camp. I thought about selling my Mini Pleaty, which is still in excellent condition, back in 2019, but decided to give it another chance before making a decision. I fell in love with it all over again and decided it was a great summer bag. I also paid somewhere in the mid $600 range for it. Seemed expensive then, but so cheap now. I can’t believe what LV is charging for denim. Denim!? Chanel, too. Even if the bags are LE and cute, the super high prices are such a turnoff that I just… can’t.

On that note, I can usually tell when a launch doesn’t go as planned. I haven’t yet trained my SA to contact me about preorders (it’s probably because I don’t spend enough, hah!), but she sometimes will contact me within a couple days after a launch to share pictures of what’s new. I suspect she wouldn’t do that if they’re sold out, so this is her way of trying to nudge a sale. I’ll be curious to see if she reaches out with this one.

Here’s my Mini Pleaty from the aughts.

Cute I know I like the original strap better than the updated version with the studs. And no to me these bags do not look dated. Excellent condition and reasonably priced do not sit long on online resale sites. LV set these prices for a targeted customer base. For me I would rather pay for a LV exotic bag before I pay what they want for a denim bag.

Agree on all points!

Personally I love and collect vintage bags and accessories so it doesn’t bother me too much that the denim pieces look vintage/dated; I think that was the intent with this collection (for better or for worse). The 90s/00s are back (again, for better or for worse lol), so these styles are trendy again, for a little while at least. I’m more bothered by the prices; I don’t think they’re cute enough to justify the high price tag, and like others have said, they are not really classic pieces. I prefer the original denim pieces from decades past, and would honestly rather have one of those than these “neo-vintage” styles if I could find them in excellent condition for a good price.
:goodpost: Exactly.

Can anyone confirm if this fits credit cards?
It does, but @BULL nailed it for how they go in and out. I will be using mine for my Airpod Pro’s and my keys, both of which easily go in and out.
I did some measurements, since the size of the hook can be measured on items we already have. This would be the result. So they would fit, but the zipper opening is not long enough to comfortable get them in and out, you'll need to move them at an angle.

Yes, the zipper/piece isn’t quite long enough to just drop the cards in. Once they are in, you could have a stack of cards if you wish! It’s such a fun piece, I love that it’s a mini mini keepall - and in fuschia for me!

So I found the fuchsia in Europe - was that color ever available in the us?
I think some pieces might have been online in fuschia. The pocket organizer was not really available except a few moments here and there and it always had a shipping delay. My online SA was able to get it for me, but it took a month to get to me. I’ve not seen it or some pieces in any stores in fuschia.
