I wonder if they are not honest with me or they just don’t know due to Poor communication and information flow.I don’t think it’s lamb skin, the leather is wrinkled because they didn’t put any stuffing while transporting the bag, I’m going to stuff it and observe, hopefully it will become a bit smoother

I saw a NF today and it did feel like a soft thick plastic coating. It wasn‘t for me although the effect was beautiful (which I didn‘t see indoors). I don‘t know if it would get yellowing or stickiness later. No more „Vernis“ for me…

I was wondering about yellowing and melting because I live in SW FL, not that I would be putting it in the sun, but who knows what with the 2 quality nightmares I had the past 2 months. I have to really look at it tonight after I get home from work.
My SA has warned me about sunlight and that it could melt the lamination layer when it’s for a long time in the hot sun. That won’t really be a problem where I live but definitely something to think about living in more hot and humid climates!
It is inevitable. The clear PVC always gets yellower. Just as on their Vernis. But since the base colour is not super light, it could be less visible.
@BULL you are so helpful. Now I really don't know if I should keep this bag? TBH it wasn't even really on my radar so it should go back and I should wait and see if anything appeals to me.
I would describe the darker as a oil rainbow effect. It's more vibrant than it looks in my photos but I did get some of the rainbow to show up in the sun. I can see it indoors too but it's impossible to photograph. I saw the lighter version as well and it did have more of a prism rainbow effect I'd say. It showed up in all lights really well. I like how the darker leather parts match the darker version I got. I tried on the speedy too and thought that would be the one I would get but this one fits my essentials and I like the compartments.
The fading of colour I could accept after some usage period. Melting? Will it? Because I live in exactly those hot and humid places to be worried about. And I had a melting bag before and it was a disaster!! I’m a little worried now and the last thing I want is another melting bag.
I"m really liking this darker version too. However the lighter one catches more light and show off the colors.

Agreed, the lighter did show the rainbow colors easier than the darker version . I think both are really pretty.
I have no idea but it gets really hot here in SW FL and the yellowing comment made me think of the heat here.......I mean if I'm out at the beach I would never bring my LV anyway. It would be at most, in my car driving and maybe to brunch but I don't sit in the sun then but it's hot. So I'm with you...no idea.

My order for the PM EW is still pending, but Im quite unsure about it already. Afraid I dont like the plasticy feeling (Im a sucker for high quality leather and „natural“ materials) plus now afraid about melting and yellowing….
Already debating what Im gonna get instead in case I return
