Some news today in the Telegraph about how our late Majesty's Military patronages have been reasigned.
"The Princess Royal’s only new job, Deputy Colonel-in-Chief of the Royal Regiment of Scotland, must have been an easy call given her strong links to Scotland and her existing appointments with the Regiment's 1st and 6th Battalions."
I was watching the Procession to Westminster Hall from Buckingham Palace and the Service inside as our late Queen's coffin was laid in State. The young chorister who took part in the Coronation asking the King why he was there? Looked much younger even though it was only 7 months before.
Johnny entering the Hall.

And on the way out taking the order of service from the King, the back of Johnny's head with what must be his Army haircut, the shortest I've ever seen it. He keeps his hair much longer now.
