Some news today in the Telegraph about how our late Majesty's Military patronages have been reasigned.

"The Princess Royal’s only new job, Deputy Colonel-in-Chief of the Royal Regiment of Scotland, must have been an easy call given her strong links to Scotland and her existing appointments with the Regiment's 1st and 6th Battalions."

I was watching the Procession to Westminster Hall from Buckingham Palace and the Service inside as our late Queen's coffin was laid in State.The young chorister who took part in the Coronation asking the King why he was there? Looked much younger even though it was only 7 months before.

And on the way out taking the order of service from the King, the back of Johnny's head with what must be his Army haircut, the shortest I've ever seen it. He keeps his hair much longer now.

These photos that I think were on TikTok originally kind of worry me as this appears to be an event that he went to as a private citizen. Considering most people think he is still married (and he might be), having pictures in Tatler talking about him charming women and now this with women who appear to be half his age is not a good look. People are starting to talk. The comments under this picture on TikTok by some state 'I hope the lady in green is his wife'. He is now a reluctant public figure and I think he really needs to talk to Charles or palace PR as it's getting a bit out of hand.

You have made some interesting points. There was a recent YouTube video taken during one of the King's visits to a local business. Rather than on the King, the camera operator focused on a member of the Queen's staff who was openly flirting with Jonny. I was astounded by her conduct, which took place behind the Queen's back. I have never seen staff act in such a fashion. Jonny did not respond and maintained a most professional, almost embarrassed, demeanor. He is a high-ranking military officer; he did not work in the world of celebrity and we do not know what type of training he may have received about media awareness when he became Equerry to Prince Charles. Now, with his own huge media presence, if not careful, the media could catch him up in the more negative side of press coverage. His image and popularity could be damaged, not to mention his professional reputation and possibly even his career. Hopefully the King and Palace staff are lending a guiding hand. I image they may be stumped too as never before has an Equerry had the publicity like what Jonny is experiencing.

BTW I have no doubt whatsoever if the press had any dirt on Johnny they would've published by now.
I do remember the Tartan fabrics visit during Scotland week in July, and Johnny made the 3 ladies laugh (Mrs Belinda Kim, Camilla's Assistant, the tour guide, and another lady). But I just assumed he made a joke that he needed more tartan fabric supplies himself, or something equally lighthearted!
I will go and look at the video again.

I agree, I don't think the press really know anything at the moment but cameras do appear to be everywhere even when he is at events outwith public duties.
I think I know the video you are talking about. There appears to be two versions of the video. In the longer one, the Queen goes to get Jonny into the room and then has a light hearted conversation and joke and the others laugh. I think the Queen and Jonny do have a lovely relationship, however that is my point, you can cut videos and photos to make them look like anything.

Thank you for responding to my post. I did not intend for it to be interpreted in that way so my apology if that is how it sounded. Jonny's deportment is exemplary. His public demeanor is above reproach. The concern about photos and videos it is that the actions of those around him also draw attention which might lead to any number of interpretations, be they correct or not.

I think you are right. In the shorter version the Queen has been cut out so it does look like you have a member of staff flirting.

There are comments on a UK tabloid that he swears as a trooper, drink excessively and bully women, someone commented that he knows him and has his telephone number, he prefers women 18-30 years old, blonde, not too tall and skinny

Always take anything you read in the comments section of a tabloid (or even a respected publication) with a grain of salt. Anonymous people love to pretend they know things but they are usually just trolling randos.
