Found myself muttering “get out of the way” at the royals it’s embarrassing!
(I know there was debate about his height on this thread but he’s gotta be 6ft 1 or 2. He’s not far off William who’s 6ft 3.)
If Lt. Col. Johnny ever wrote his autobiography, his time as an Equerry to Prince Charles and then King Charles covered an amazing period in the BRF history against the backdrop of a worldwide pandemic. Charles has had dozens of Equerries given that he’s in his 70s and Equerries only serve for 3 years on average. But this Equerry started in 2020 so he was there to witness from behind the scenes the passing of Prince Philip in 2021, the passing of Queen Elizabeth, the longest reigning monarch, in 2022, and the Coronation of King Charles in 2023, the first coronation of a British monarch in 70 years. And he wasn’t just a spectator. He witnessed much of the decision making and planning and was intimately involved in the execution of many of the events. Instead of The Crown, Netflix should consider a Major / Lt. Col. Johnny series!
