Since he is slightly inclined forward, I assumed that he is tucking something into his waistband in back. I could, of course, be wrong about that. But I am positive that he is not and would not ogle anyone he encounters in his official capacity- and certainly not at a state dinner.

It is difficult to interpret photos as they just snap an instant in time and can be misleading.

He's just tucking his shirt in or adjusting some part of his mess dress I think...there are a few similar shots all with him in more or less the same position.

If you look carefully, just to the right of Catherine's head, you can see another head sticking out. I wonder if Jonny was just about to shake hands with him/ her or maybe had just done so. That is what I think anyway.

Where’s Johnny? Only a slight glimpse of him at the State Banquet last night.

No sighting yesterday, unless he got lost in all the pomp and circumstance , during all of the arrival festivities.

The King is out and about today visiting several places. There are 40 pictures on the DM so far, and no Johnny. :confused1:

If you look at the below on You Tube, right at the end there is a glimpse of him. He is standing right at the back wearing a grey suit and a blue tie and looks as though he is fiddling with his phone. I was intending to go through it but my husband was making hungry noises (if you know what I mean!).​

Pure speculation, I’m wondering if it’s been suggested he be out of camera range when it will not endanger the King’s security?

He can’t help he’s so handsome, but, even though he does not appear to seek publicity, all the personal attention might become a negative for him in his career. There are petty jealousies in any organization.
