Yeah, what I like about him is that he was concerned about the environment and organic farming because of the dangers of pesticides to bees, insects, birds etc. decades before it was fashionable and people mocked him a lot for it but he was actually right. We can never know if these scurrilous stories are true (or really most stories about the Royal family) since we aren’t witness to most of them and it’s always a game of what the tabloids like to print or, at best, “recollections may vary.” Other people have spoken very warmly of the-then Prince Charles, and of his kindness so maybe he’s a mixture of good and bad, like most humans.OH i just saw a clip of that from the butler. I dunno, it seems like his mom raised him better than that but I wasnt there. I could go either way with this. In the end, I hope he is a good king and can do some good for the environments and the humans in it.
What sort of a King Charles will make is yet to be seen, but for at least the past 3-4 years he has already taken over many of his mother’s duties. And I personally feel that I can extend a little grace to a 73-year old man whose mother has just passed away and who now has a grueling ten days of non-stop public appearances with every flicker of his eyelid and every tremor of his hand analyzed by millions of people. Don’t get me wrong, the Royal family are IMMENSELY privileged but there IS a price to pay for that privilege and they’re all paying it now, none more than Charles and Anne. ♀️
On topic; the King was wearing a kilt in Scotland so that was nice.

Recollections may vary, in factThere is a clip of the then Prince Charles speaking with a commoner(?). The person tells him about the ‘toothpaste’ story. Prince Charles, now King Charles, giggles and says, “You believe that?”, more giggles.
I take all of these stories with a grain of salt.
ETA: we need a complete analysis of his pins, sashes, etc. I’m clueless but quite sure every single thing he wears is of historic significance. Inquiring minds would love to know.
