Upon graduation, Jonny left Sandhurst as a 2nd Lieutenant and could command a regiment of approximately 30 soldiers. Someone please tell me if I have made a mistake on any of this!

We all know that Jonny accompanied the King to Sandhurst for the 200th Sovereign's Parade on 14th April 2023. They arrived together in the same car. However, at the end of the event, the King departed and left Jonny standing in the parking lot!
He could command a platoon. A Regiment is the whole thing.

I watched those videos last week when Jessie mentioned them. It wasn't the parking lot! The King and Sandhurst Officials had photos taken on the steps outside and his car pulled up, Jonny was putting something in the boot while the King got in, and saluted him as the car drove off, standing on the forecourt of Sandhurst. Maybe Jonny was invited to give a talk or Q&A?

I'd like to ask RomeGirl is the red sash Jonny is wearing in photos above to denote he passed out as an Officer at Sandhurst? Whereas the King and William wear a blue sash to show they trained in the RAF.
Speaking of sashes.. in the same vein, I've wondered why the white belt (or whatever it is correctly called) is so loose and dangling in the back

It's to sling the ceremonial sword, in its sheath by his side, when the occasion requires Jonny to carry it. The "dangling" sling is attached to the white cross belt that he wears diagonally across his chest and back. The other white belt is his kilt waist belt. You can see Jonny, with the ceremonial sword, slung by his side in some of the Sandhurst videos. Below is a photograph of Jonny in which we have a good look at the sword sling with the metal sheath attached to the sling. This photograph was taken on the day he commanded the Royal Honour Guard (2018) welcoming Queen Elizabeth II to Balmoral.

A Preview of Soldier starting tonight, and where Jonny trained in North Yorkshire.

Soldier
BBC One, 9pm
Forget SAS: Who Dares Wins – this is the real thing, as director Paul Wells documents the progress (or otherwise) of 45 young people at Catterick’s British Army Infantry Training Centre. From how they roll up their socks to whether they can negotiate an obstacle course, every move is micromanaged and scrutinised – something that proves hard to take for some of the more strident, less mature recruits. All five episodes are on iPlayer.

You are right! Thank you. I didn't know whether to call it a parking lot or parade ground or something else! I saw the salute and was a little puzzled as to why Jonny was left standing there. Good thought about Jonny perhaps invited to give a talk. Or maybe even visit with staff members he knows.

After yesterday's debacle with the now deleted photoshopped pic of Jonny talking about the Aden Patrol Exercises in July 2019, I decided to take my own screenshots, as he looks so gorgeous as CommandingOfficer, no tampering needed!

Here's the full video link. Edited: What a shame it won't work. Just Google Balaklava Aden Exercises and it will come up. It's on Facebook.

I went a bit overboard with the screen caps but here they are!

Thanks so much. Just watched the video and have replaced the photos I had filed that had been tampered with with the right ones. Lovely to hear his voice

Timeless classic style, the King still wears today.
Yes. When he was Prince of Wales, and now as King, an impeccable dresser. I always look forward to watching him in Scotland to look for his next kilt outfit. So wonderful to see the king in a kilt and Jonny in his tweed during the Braemar and Mey Gatherings.
