Over recent months the active members of this particular forum have come together in a very pleasant way to share conversation, pictures, and have a bit of fun in a nurturing and respectful way about those we admire and respect.

There have been so many disrespectful and hurtful things said on other sites over recent months. We just wish for this space to serve as a safe haven from those things and to keep our interactions upbeat, respectful, and light.

I have read about and posted about Maj JT on several sites, and I have yet to see any criticism of the man. The only people, mostly women, who are interested in him are those who follow the Royal Family. Always complimentary comments about how he performs his job in a professional manner and is always smartly attired in his uniform. He’s a real person, with a family and position. Let’s treat him as such without going over the top.

This thread was started by @Maggie Muggins in June 7, 2022. It has always been fun. Thank you @Maggie Muggins!

BTW for those posting about the tiktok and IG account holder, it's the same Canadian woman who has now returned to her Twitter fan page and is posting there as of yesterday, though why still call him Major? :annoyed:

What may not be so easy to stop is the cheap and tacky merchandise bearing Jonny's name and image produced in America and sold online. It's disgusting, and vile sharks will cash in on anything. He's a public servant not a zeleb.

Yet another insanely daft and insult to journalism article in the Mail Online yesterday. Long may they continue writing this crap as long as they leave him alone.

Thanks for pointing this out. I feel it is no coincidence. There seems to be a lot going on behind the scenes - perhaps someone has been pushed too far.

If everyone remembers to be respectful, THINK about what they are saying, and stick to any pics legitimately obtained, and unaltered, of Jonny performing his public duties, we should be OK.
Some of the private photos appeared on my twitter feed but a couple of people called the posters out for reposting. You can't unsee them either.
What's troubling is that they may have been put on the web by someone who may be/have been close/trusted by Jonny and range from school, university and through his younger life. I suppose that they could have been hacked or stolen, who knows.Nothing to his detriment that I could see, but very intrusive and provoking discussion and distasteful speculation.
Someone mischief making. Not everyone who reads or follows posts concerning Jonny is a friend. We all know that he's a high ranking military officer who is close to the King and Queen, which can make him a target for some.

Yes I saw these too and was able to locate the social media account who had originally published the photos (not on Twitter/X) and have reported the photos and the account for posting private photos without consent. I’ll keep an eye out and continue to file reports until something is done.

Just read the article. Rubbish, both the article and the merchandise.

Thank you so much for doing that ! - I had no idea that so much had been going on.

Good heavens ! So it's much worse than I imagined.
