Lovin' the Collier de Chien Bracelets!!!

If it’s the little white dot, I’d get some matching Meltonian, or other tinted leather cream, and touch it up with a q-tip.

I’m the queen of wanting perfection and finding fault, but this doesn’t look terrible even to me. You have to do what makes you happy, though. Just my 2 cents.

Alligators and lizards along with other leathers crawled out of their warm back room over the weekend in the Madison store to come and play with Mrs. PP, she was in ecstatic to say the least29511009_10213431129264993_5777242731295533690_n.jpg 29570635_10213431093184091_2802911606541956586_n.jpg IMG_1088.jpg
BE with large scales and silver HW was stunning...so was the Noir with large scales and gold HW... she also like the Brick (sp?) with silver HW... her head was going to explode! I had to take her out of the store! Hahaha

Question:

Do your CDC’s appear to bubble when spread flat on a hard surface?

I see it with a couple of mine. One is an exotic I purchased from the boutique a year ago. I wore it for less than 8 hours and never put lotion on or got it wet.

I emailed Hermes to see if there is anything that can be done.

I appreciate all responses!

Why would you spread it out on a flat surface anyway? The skin is glazed... bad idea.

In my opinion this is normal because the CDC is supposed to be used and stored curled up. From logic, the outer layer has to be longer than the inner layer so if you flatten it, it will cause some bubbling effect. I notice the same issue with some of my CDCs too when I try to flatten to take picture. Maybe other experts can chip in as well.

Thank you! I have two that show no bubbling at all. But they are the smaller scales. Don’t know if this has anything to do with anything

I can’t speak to the size, they really need to be tried on but I have been wearing a white gold one for about a year continually and it’s fine. I take it off for cleaning regularly and recently started removing all my jewelry for a workout because I’m scared of getting caught on a machine and then forget to put them back on.

I wear it stacked with a Juste un Clou, a Tiffany bracelet and my watch. You might find more help in the fine jewelry thread, it’s technically a CDC but the convo here is mostly about the leather versions.
You're right to remove jewelry before a workout. Has to do with perspiring. That is not good for gold.

I wore my silver tintamarre bracelet when working out a lot when I first got it. The tintamarre is links on links on links so to speak. And the inside of the links get grimy. I used a small curved nail file covered with a baby wipe to coax the grime out of the corner of each anchor link. The dampness of the wipe helped remove the dirt. Now I would never wear it working out. Cleaning those links is time consuming.
