Lovin' the Collier de Chien Bracelets!!!

Am interested in the 18k gold one. I like jewelry that is low maintenance and that I don’t have to to take on and off too often.

Can anyone tell me if this can be worn for long periods at a time?

I have a love bracelet and vca 5 motif that I basically never take off. Would that be okay for the chien bracelet or do you need to take it off before shower, etc?

Also, is the smallest size basically the same size as the cartier love in 16?

Are you referring to that little white spot or dent (can't really tell what it is) at the edge of the CDC? I would return it for a refund if possible and get another one assuming you bought this direct from the store?

If it’s going to bother you that much and you’re not too attached to color I would swap it out. It’ll be worth it to not constantly be irritated by it.. and you might fall in love with a new color anyway!

I don’t see anything... this bracelet will not stay pristine if you actually wear it ( and i don’t mean for an hour at a time) so i don’t see the point of being too picky.. unless there’s a different reason to not love it

Yes, the spot plus that the bracelet feel like it hav been used. I bought it from Hermés online so i can send it back, but i do not know if they have this color anymore.

Color looks like Rose Jaipur to me. Although RJ is a little bit neon coral and yours looks like a softer coral to me. It's a really pretty color you have. Did you get the CDC late in the game for that particular color? I would not give up that color for some itty-bitty mark that is only noticeable with hugely magnified pictures. You'll get other marks from wear soon enough.

I can’t speak to the size, they really need to be tried on but I have been wearing a white gold one for about a year continually and it’s fine. I take it off for cleaning regularly and recently started removing all my jewelry for a workout because I’m scared of getting caught on a machine and then forget to put them back on.

I wear it stacked with a Juste un Clou, a Tiffany bracelet and my watch. You might find more help in the fine jewelry thread, it’s technically a CDC but the convo here is mostly about the leather versions.

Yes, it it Rose jaipur and if Hermès can not get a other bracelet in this color for me, i am thinking of keep this one because i really love this color. I am trying it on right now and it is so much more fun than the other colors they offer right now. And you are right, it is going to get more marks with time.
