Unfortunately my dear your comments following the initial statement which started this thread are quite different. Yes people will continue to harp on that because that was the initial statement. When you start these threads yes ma'am it is your opinion but you will also need to be ready for the opinions of others to follow. You came to an LV lover forum and basically said LV was cheap and because you can afford more expensive bags such as Hermes you will buy them as LV is not prestigious enough for you! Oh yes you did state LV quality was good but that got lost in your snobbish attitude. Most of us could not comment in regards to your country because we do not reside in Asia! This may be how your country looks at things but here you telling a bunch of people you are better than them is frowned upon!
That lengthy post should challenge you because it put you in your place!
Wow, this is becoming really fierce!+1!
OP, since you are new perhaps you don't realize we can see the posts you make in other forums. I see that while you came here and looked down on the majority of this community of LV lovers, claiming that you prefer prestigious brands, your post of all the bags you own indicates that you have bags that many might consider not as prestigious as LV. For that matter, perhaps some Hermes toting ladies might look down on you for the Aldo shoes you claim to love in some of your posts.
The lessons you should take away from posting in that condescending tone here is as follows: we are a pretty close knit group of LV lovers here, some people save up for them and some of us don't. Some people buy LV as a treat to themselves and that is as high as they can reasonably afford, and that is nothing to look down on at all. And some of us can afford Hermes at the drop of a hat but we don't like Hermes for a variety of reasons, including not caring for the designs or not wanting to play stupid games over acquiring a bag, and won't spend money to fit in to some perceived social group.
I hope you learned something here as you joined the TPF community, and started out on the wrong foot. CornishMon pointed out, and I agree, that attitude is just not acceptable here. As you enter the workforce (according to your posts), I encourage you to be less condescending and to realize that yes, you have the right to your opinion, but everyone else has the right to refute you as well.
Bye Felicia!
(Since you aren't American, you may need to look that saying up).
But ladies you are f...... right!
