No I don't feel the same. First off who says BV and Chanel are more prestigious than LV and who cares? I don't buy bags based on prestige I buy based on what I like. There are plenty of LV's that are over the 4000 k price mark so maintaining their "luxury status" isn't exactly a difficult task for them. If you miss LV why do you not plan on buying again? Is it because you feel that the brand doesn't make you appear prestigious enough to others? Is the brand somehow beneath you? I just don't understand if you like it so much and think its such great quality why you don't want to buy anymore. I enjoy LV for the quality and I love how I can take out my canvas Alma for example and not have to worry the way I worry when I use my all leather Chanel.

People on "tight budgets" don't go out and buy 1000 plus dollar handbags. I think sometimes there is a loss of touch with reality that goes on with some of those who are so use to luxury because it is not normal everyday finances for people on a tight budget to be able to afford a Louis Vuitton comfortably.

Also its nice to know that if you ever find yourself scrapping the bottom of your Birkin for cash that you will be willing to lower yourself to buy a speedy or a neverfull. That statement just amazes me. I mean I own two speedy's and one neverfull and trust me its not because I am hard up on cash.

Shelling out 1000 and up for a bag or for anything is a lot of money. Never in my mind would I think that amount is cheap. Unless I had Bill Gates money, I could theoretically would view 1000 as one dollar. But I would still view it as a lot of money in reality either way. lol

so you agree that LV might have better quality than Hermes but you choose not to buy LV bc its not "prestigious" enough for you. OP you sound pretentious and instead of trolling on the LV forum, you might want to spend your time on "Money Talk" and learn a thing or two on how to spend wisely. It sounds silly to me to spend thousand upon thousands of dollar on "prestigious" brands like Chanel and Hermes when their quality is subpar to a budget friendly brand like LV. Like img had said, someone need a serious reality check if they think LV is consider cheap.

Sorry, I don't share the same feeling. I will not lie my fave bag is the Chanel Classic flap because of the history behind it. Believe me I want to buy more Chanel bags but there are only a few that calls my attention even them can't make my heart sing. Unlike LV I think I want most of them. As a purse collector I don't discriminate I at least have one or 2 of each brands in my collections like bcbg,guess,mk, kate spade ect.to the most prestigious ones like LV, Chanel and will be soon adding Hermes to my collection but with LV I don't think sky is the limit they have the most fun designs and leathers to me like the Alma's and leathers like epi and vernis and the excellent quality is still there. LV is as prestige as the other brands I have seen celebrities carries them all the time, Angelina jolie, kylie Jenner etc.

I'm confused as to what purpose this thread serves; if the OP feels that LV is beneath them and is inferior to other brands then why comment under the LV forum? I'm calling the OP out as a troll judging by their comments and follow up responses to other members posts, but if I'm wrong then they have serious self-esteem issues if they actually believe in what they've typed...designer labels alone won't make you a better person or give you an improved attitude.

OP, you're new to the forum but have already caused agitation amongst existing members here. This behaviour is not welcomed so shape up or ship out.

OP I think ur wording may be off and ur insulting (maybe not intentionally) a lot of members here who feel strongly about their LV's. I know it's ur opinion but think about it. What if someone came on and made insensitive comments about ur Hermes, making u feel like ur bag is beneath them. Your point may be that LV is good value for the $, but it's overshadowed by your comments that others may deem snobbish and insensitive.
