Luckily, I was able to buy an EPI Brea GM on Friday for $2160. I looked at the website this morning, and the price is now $2430! That's a 12.5% increase!!! I also stopped by the boutique yesterday and it was packed. It looked like LV was given away free stuff or something, or was having a big sale with all the people inside before the price increase. I agree with the supply and demand effect :upsidedown:

I hear ya! Luckily I bought my DE Speedy 35 yesterday, right before the increase, but I still have a Neverfull on my wish list. Sigh. It's true, I will pay 940.00 for the Neverfull MM, but I def would have rather paid 850.00. lol. I'm just glad that's the last bag on my wishlist, then it's on to SLGs!

I have only been buying LV less then a year so this is the first increase that I have really been through (I guess there was one right after my very first LV purchase but I was so new to LV that I didn't notice, nor was I really following TPF much at that time).

But I am glad, that this time around, I was able to follow all of the updated info on this forum. It is such a great tool. Bummer that you did not see all the posts about the upcoming increase in time!

I ordered by Speedy last night also! I was going to wait until my birth day (2weeks) but why not save a few bucks!

I wanted to get the speedy b 30 mono online last night but they were sold out, and they don't let you order over the phone through a store if you haven't purchased in a store before. This morning they are back in stock with a much higher price :(
You could always look for a preloved neverfull

I wasn't able to purchase before the increase either. Was planning to purchase both the NF and Speedy in DE and was hoping that the price increase wouldn't happen until later on in the year. Now there's some posts about another one coming up in the summer :faint:

Just checked the site here in Australia:

Alma BB up from $1440 to $1600 somethng
Alma PM up to $2000 from $1800.

A long zippy wallet is now $1100!!

HUH??? :cray:

Glad I made a big haul late last year. It might be my last for a while.....

IMO, the Neverfull is not worth this new price. I wanted an Azur one, but I won't be purchasing. I'm fine with the other bags, but this bag is just soooo basic that it doesn't warrant a $1K price - more with 10% tax here in Chicago!!

The same exact thing happened to me!! I can't believe our luck! But...i still want it!! Looking at the speedy 35 in either damier or mono. My dream LV would be the artsy GM...but that will be a purchase that will have to wait a couple of years :)
