It was listed on their US website for $850. I wanted to wait till I filed my taxes.... and guess what? I just went to their website and now the MM is listed at $940. I called my local LV store and asked the associate when the change happened and she said it went up this morning! And I'm beating myself for not getting it sooner...... ugh. I know they do their yearly or semi-yearly increases but why nowwwwwww!??! Sorry, I had to vent

Wow, which model was it? I was hoping to get a speedy 35 (damier) and a neverfull together but oh well.................
In the shopping section on the forum they have been talking about the increase for awhile. I think it was about 2 weeks ago that we first heard that the official increase date would be today and then maybe a week ago we learned that the Neverfull and Speedy were going to be two of the bags with the biggest increase. I am glad I was following it so I could call in and order my Speedy B last night, in the knick of time (well hopefully, I still don't have an order confirmation yet).
I have only been buying LV less then a year so this is the first increase that I have really been through (I guess there was one right after my very first LV purchase but I was so new to LV that I didn't notice, nor was I really following TPF much at that time).
But I am glad, that this time around, I was able to follow all of the updated info on this forum. It is such a great tool. Bummer that you did not see all the posts about the upcoming increase in time!

The price increase (adjustment) went into effect in the US today! There are a lot of threads on it already, especially in the Louis Vuitton shopping sub-forum
I usually read the forum quite often but lately I have been slacking... just didn't think that those two bags I wanted would have two of the biggest increases. Thanks for your replies, though. And Fancy_pants, hope your order goes through quickly!
It makes perfect sense to me from an economic standpoint. It is not because they are the most expensive bags to make.....far from it, but because they are the most popular. That is so annoying, but it is the supply and demand kind of effect. If there is a ton of demand, may as well jack up the price. I doubt it will seriously stop anyone from buying a bag, and LV knows this......if they could fork over $800 they will fork over $900.
I too was shocked to see the NF go up that high. I've been wanting the Eva Clutch and was relieved to see it was only a 15 dollar increase. But that's a very high jump

Yea, I just checked it on the website... (the one with the straps) strangely enough though when you look up the speedy models, they show previous prices before the increase but when you click on them, you see the new price!The one with the strap .... And I do agree that NF and Speedy are very high in demand so yea why not if they could hike up the prices. But I would rather go shopping when I know I have the $ in the bank than spend the $ I don't have.
