$480 USD = $663 CAD
The current price for the Emilie in CAD = $590

Six-Key Holder:
$250 USD = $345 CAD

Speedy B 25:
$1370 USD = $1892 CAD
The current price for Speedy B 25 in CAD = $1780

The ONLY piece I looked at while doing these conversions that appeared to be the same price in either country was the Pochette Accessoires NM:
$500 USD = $690 CAD
The current price in CAD = $690

It seems to me that these price increases that are hitting the Canadian market are to catch up with what the rest of the international market rates.

It does make sense in terms of the international currency exchange rates. If this is the case the US shouldn't experience a price hike for a while due to the strong US $. However, I don't think LV really play fair so there will probably be a price increase in the US anyway.....

My SA here in Ireland told me there would be a price increase in Europe this month, though the month is nearly finished....

Off topic but I LOVE your youtube channel. I was so happy to see you back and you are the reason I got into the outlander series! :D

Can't wait!! It's not so big on this side of the pond and I had never even heard of it before you mentioned it, which is weird since the lead actress is Irish. I even got my SO into it!

BTW you should totally do vlogs again, I loved those. I hope you're enjoying your new speedy b! I have it in the damier ebene and it's probably my favourite bag!

The SA in Austria told me there will be no price increase soon .. And if there will be one there will be just an increase on the iconic ones.. And we don't have two price increases per year in europe (with euros as currency) I'm not sure if this is true as I'm new to LV but this is what she has told me .. It still can be one price increase but maybe not on the newer models.. We will see :)

Either that SA didn't know what she was talking about or lied about not having two price increases in countries with the Euro. There were two last year. One around Feb/March and one around June/July. The second one was totally unexpected and didn't include slg's.

I do hope she is right about no price increases coming up soon, though a lot of people from other EU countries have had information to the contrary.

I have the new model with the pochette, so I can only speak about that model. I've had my GM for a little over a year and the pouchette has only been out of the closet once. I used it as a clutch at a party. So mine hasn't been especially useful. But this is just me. I've read where others like it...

I had the classic Mono NF MM and I sold it a few years ago. I just bought a new one in Rose Ballerine last year and it came with the pouch. Honestly, I find the pouch useless so I sold it on eBay. You can always sell it too if you don't want it.

Lol I sold mine on eBay too. I felt it was just an unwanted added extra. My friend wants one but she is not happy to pay over 700 for one xx

Don't know when but the price increase has made it to the US, and it is quite an increase. Was looking at the Retiro in noir and the price has increased by more than 700.00. Too much for canvas in my opinion. Time to look at other options.

I'm glad to hear this... I made the leap to buy a GM second hand and it doesn't have a pouch. I got it on eBay so once it's all cleaned up etc I'm hoping I won't have a "wish I bought the pouch" moment
