I only have taken mine out three times and those times it was barley out so even if you do not really use it, it will still have a chance of happening. LV must realize something is wrong by now, I would hope so anwyay. It it crazy to spend 2k on a bag like this and yes I am one of those people who think a 2k bag should have better quality than a 50 dollar bag. I bought a bag from Express for 60 bucks on black friday and not a problem! This infrarouge has turned into a big inrfradud



My bag did not have this on it yesterday but today it did. It literally happened overnight. My grandmother use to tell me nothing good happens at night, my bag is peeling overnight, fine lines and pimples always seem to pop up overnight night, grandma was right.

I totally agree! I wonder if the cold or heat has something to do with it? I just don't know. I'm in NJ/NYC so obviously I've been out in the cold with it.
 
Yep. @Sonmi999 and @SpeedyJC... It happened today... I am devastated. I was hoping to be lucky, but nope. And it's everywhere except the back. This bag is going back and I'm sick about it. I took so really good pics (I hope) so everyone could really know what to look for. I took these in the sun so they could really be seen but it makes the IR look orange, just FYI. Wow, this is crazy! This is a widespread, serious defect, and LV needs to be doing something for the customers who are affected by this. I'm sorry, I can imagine how disappointing this must be. I'm going to inspect my Reverse PM now. Not sure if this is an issue with just the Infrarouge?

Hi all - I returned my new Infrarouge PM for an exchange a few weeks ago due to its crooked lock. I received a call a few days ago from my SA (at the 800 number - LOVE HER) saying that the exchange had been approved, but all of the current Infrarouge PM's in stock had flaws and they were waiting on a brand new shipment in the next couple of weeks to ship a new one to me. So it sounds like LV is aware of the issues. I love this bag so much that I'm willing to try again. I have a fairly new Mono PM that is impeccable, so they obviously fixed the problems with it. Fingers crossed this new batch is good! I do have hope.

@LVorDie, I feel for you, and thanks for checking out your bag in the sun. Those things aren't noticeable until natural sunlight. I thought I was the only one with bag issues. My pictures are in another thread if you want to see. Guess I'm planning to return mine now too:sad:

Oh no, this really sucks. LV dropped the ball big time, this is almost as bad as Mariahs New Years Eve performance.

Oh wow so they definitely know and acknowledge there is an issue then, well that's a relief! So far I just have that one spot but think it's best to exchange with new batch to be on safe side.
