I'm pretty much obsessed with it. It's secure and gorgeous. I can close it without looking down at it too. The "male" part of the lock is coated in a white plastic or rubber, so when you are fiddling and trying to find the "female" part of the lock, it doesn't scratch the gorgeous gold... love that!
OMG! I hadn't even noticed that! LOL!
There have been a few occasions where I wondered "what's that noise" and it's the flap knocking because I haven't closed the lock all the way. I just have to remind myself to lock it and check it and not to rely on the sound of it locking.
Hi LVorDie, you look beautiful! Reaching out to you cuz I've had issues with my infrarouge canvas (I posted a thread), and wondering if you've had any with yours? I've already exchanged it once, but found the same canvas problems. I really do love this color combo and would like your opinion, thank you!

I had some similar troubles. But now that I've used it and the canvas is softer, I'm coming around to the idea that it MIGHT be the wearing off of the super gloss that is the trouble. What I found were distinct patches where areas were less saturated in shine than others. But I was at home and it was my only bag so I had to use it for a week. And now, I can't find the spots that were there before. And the canvas, while still shinier than the monogram, isn't AS stiff and shiny as the first day or two of wear. For me, I don't mind BC the stiffness was a little annoying. But could that be the issue? I called my lovely SA and plan to bring it to her to check it out next week esp BC I don't want it to dull down, if you know what I mean. But I am wondering if it was the finish that was never meant to stick around at that level of shine?

She did say that the coating on this bag is different from others, but I still think it shouldn't look like that. (I posted pictures in another thread). But I love this bag so much, I might be willing to accept it's faults

Thank you for the sweet compliment earlier! This poor bag has given so many ppl issues! @Sonmi999 got the bag 2 days before me and her peeling was almost immediate. Her SA exchanged it for the reverse, but it was still disappointing. A couple others have had the same thing... ugh. I've carried my bag almost daily since I got it and it's been perfect. But I inspect it like a hawk just waiting for problems. It's a weird feeling. I swear, if it starts peeling, I'll die. It's been so long since a bag has excited me as much as this one.
The only big difference I can see in a few bags that have had trouble and mine, is that mine was made in the USA. Was yours? I know that my friends IR was made in France and hers peeled. Not sure if it makes a difference.

I'm glad yours has been without problems, it gives me hope that I just got a bad batch. Although, both bags were made in USA. What did your friend do with hers?
You sound like me! I find myself inspecting this bag every time I use it which is kind of ruining the bag for me. I am trying not to worry about it. I think if our bag was going to have issues by now they would? My bag was also made in USA.
Right!!! Everyday I'm like...I'm going to walk in to grab my bag and it's going to be cloudy and grey... with the entire shiny coating laying there like a shedded snakeskin [emoji33][emoji162][emoji379]
