Hello Sip,

Welcome to TPF[emoji112][emoji112]

There’s lots and lots of LV experts on this forum, and they’re very happy to help with questions.

I think the edge paint you’re talking about is called glazing.

I’ve taken a couple of pictures to show you what it looks like on my bag:

In the 2nd pic, there’s very thin glazing on the leather part of the flap (but not on the binding fabric).

If you post pics of your Felicie’s “raw” edges, I think other members can chime in and let you know if your bag is normal or is defective. HTH!!

Thank you for taking the time to take photos of yours! I've finally gotten around to doing the same on mine, so will post them for others to chime in..

Hello,

I picked up this Felicie and noticed afterwards that edges appear to be raw. Hoping someone with more experience can advise if this is normal or defective?

In contrast, the little pouch inside has fully finished/glossy edges. I can't get the camera to focus on it, so there's no photo for comparison.

Thanks in advance!LV Pochette Felicie - July 2018 1.jpg LV Pochette Felicie - July 2018 5 cropped.jpg LV Pochette Felicie - July 2018 2 cropped.jpg

I compared your pics to mine, and yours does appear to have glazing. However, if we are being picky, I don’t think your glazing is as smooth as mine—it looks “rough,” and that’s probably why you think it’s “raw.”

I hope other people will chime in. Also, you might want to post your pics and questions in the Felicie Club (it’s under the Louis Vuitton Clubhouse)—there’s more Felicie owners there. HTH.

My amarante Felicie edging looks like yours. I recalled my magenta one being like that too so I presumed they’re all made that way.

Hello everyone! I’m looking into buying a preloved Felicie chain so that I can use my LV Pochette accessories as a crossbody but I’m having a hard time getting the measurements for the thickness of the chain. I know the length is about 45 inches but can anyone tell me what the thickness (width) of the chain is? I want to make sure that what I’m purchasing is authentic. Thanks so much.

I measured mine and the length is 46" including the clasp and each link is 6cm wide

Thanks for the reply. The one I’m looking into buying is 7mm wide. Does anyone know if older Felicie chains are different than the ones now? The one I’m looking at is a 2015 (or so the seller says).

Oh sorry, I measure 6mm. Its hard to get the link to lay flat so it could just be variations to measurement technique. Mine is from 2015, the 1st production year

I've just purchased the Felicie in epi coquelicot which looks gorgeous. I love the purse and color but I'm now worried about color transfer as I wear jeans and a lot of dark colors. Has anyone had any issues with color transfer on their coquelicot bags? Wondering if I should now exchange for the noir?
