Has anyone had any rippling in the flap of their felicie and if so have you attempted to take it to a store to ask about it? I posted on a fb page I’m apart of and a lot of people said it is normal, but I don’t really think this should just be considered “normal.” I’ve had this bag since June and I’ve only used it maybe 3 times for date nights with my husband, each time for maybe 3 hours tops. I’ll add photos to try to show you guys what I mean, but honestly I’m too much of a perfectionist, so I know this will bother me. If it was something like a favorite and there was a flaw, it wouldn’t annoy me as much because that’s a floppy soft bag but this is supposed to be structured and it just makes it look really off to me. I don’t store it with anything on top of it or near anything that could indent it, and don’t leave anything in it that couldve stretched the canvas like that. When I’ve taken it out, it’s been date night so I’ve brought cards/ID, phone, and a lipstick. So it’s never been stuffed full either.

That’s normal. Canvas, much like soft leather, will do that no matter what if a bag is not completely structured (like a Gucci padlock for example) and is more pliable. You can take a blow dryer on the lowest setting to it from behind the flap (not on the canvas itself) and see if that will do the trick of getting rid of the indentation. You can also try stuffing the bag with acid free tissue paper to help the bag keep its shape... I highly recommend this and I do it will all of my bags... I try to keep all of the stuffing the bag came with originally so I may re-stuff the bag when not in use. If I need to, I will even cut up shoe boxes to fit the base and the front/back sides (if the bag is prone to caving in) of the bag, then wrap the tissue around it to use on more pliable bags that are prone to sagging like an LV neverfull, speedy or pochette for example (a little excessive with the cardboard thing, I know, but when you pay a lot for a bag, you want it to look brand new every time). However, I have found that a lot of companies make base shapers so if there is one that fits my bag, I will use that to help prevent a sagging bottom. You can find them on amazon for around $20 or so.

Anyway, here is a link to the same bag on fashionphile. It is in excellent condition but you can see the indentation in some places of the canvas. It is normal wear (once you put things inside and carry it, the indentations are bound to happen). Stuffing the bag with tissue (and using cardboard on the front and back sides) when not in use can help to prevent this. I would suggest cutting the cardboard to fit by starting from the back and wrapping it around to the flap... this would definitely help keep the indentations from forming and will possibly eliminate the dent you have now (with a little bit of help from the heat of a blow dryer). Let me know if you need guidance on how to customize cardboard if you decide to go that route.

Hi guys,

I’m a new LV owner (hence the name, lol). I purchased my LV PF from Fashionphile, since it’s out of stock online and when I called LV they did not have any in my area. I just wanted to know if it was normal for the interior of the PF to look shiny with flash photography? Like can you see the leather behind the material?
