I just now did the same on a beautiful 1990s Monceau whose inside zipper pocket was sticky. Now it's perfect - problem solved! Thanks for the great idea!

Thanks, that was very helpful. I chose to rub all that sticky rubber stuff off and cleaned it.

I just got my first Petite Bucket. I love it, but as most buckets the inside is peeling and sticky. I've managed to peel off most of the lining, but the cloth lining that is left is still a little sticky. How did you clean your lining? Did you wash it? Did you get the vachetta inside and on the rim wet? I'm so scared to ruin it. Any advice would be very helpful.

I sent mine to LV and they replaced lining, top trim and chain for $150

Yes. They can replace but expensive. I repair one in LV shop 3 years ago.

My monceau also has the sticky pocket but I'm afraid to even open it bc I'm afraid to rip the canvas. I may have to take it into LV. Which bag repair was $150?
