I’ve also noticed as the collection sells out that the bags look lighter and lighter blue. People preferred darker. Maybe I’m imagining it.

Oh I hadn’t noticed this! That’s an interesting observation. 🤔 I’ve noticed variation in the color of some pieces that I see people post on Instagram, but some of that is just different lighting I think. Sometimes the denim looks darker or brighter, depending on if it’s shot in natural light or with ring lights, etc. 💡

But it is possible and likely that there would be some variation in the washes; it’s almost impossible to have materials be exactly the same from batch to batch, whether it’s fabric or leather.

Sooo I Definitely don't think you're imagining it at all. I'm actually going to return my bum bag because it's darker and I thought it was gonna be a brighter blue like the original one I saw. It is harder to tell in the picture that it's the darker blue and I do realize that it's very pretty. I'm just not a dark denim person. Oh that is SO interesting! 💡 Yes, yours definitely looks darker than most of the pieces I’ve seen in pics/videos. Most of the Nanos I’ve seen have been on the mid-lighter side (altho it can be hard to get a true read in pics); I think I would actually prefer one in this shade. I’m going to order it this weekend and see what arrives.

I feel like it's been a month long denim saga for me deciding and going back and forth lmao. I am going to move on and I think get new pochette tirette. I do love the denim collection though!

Denim fades with sun exposure and use, so maybe you should just keep it?

So strange! You can for sure see a difference in colour between the body of the bum bag and the luggage tag

Yes it does appear somewhat dark, like it doesn't have that "washed" look. The denim feels like real true denim, perhaps that's why not all will be exact as the fabric is dyed and processed (my guess) so no 2 will look alike. If you're not happy I would definitely return. Call around if you live where the boutiques are and see if you can exchange. I still think it's nice. Over time I would think it will look newer longer as you are starting off darker, so yours will have more longevity. They should have the lugguage tag match up closer in color tho.

Someone will be very happy with your darker one. All I’m seeing now are very light in stores it will fade over time. You should have no problem finding the lighter ones now.

Here is my Fairfax L & Meredithlux from YouTube on right. Sorry I don’t know how to spell her proper name. Anyways when I saw her video I initially thought hers was a vintage. It’s not. So they are all varying shades.

I also prefer the darker denim. After returning the not so well sewn and saggy Papillon in denim I ended up ordering the highrise bumbag. I am very happy because it is a perfect crossbody me (even though I am petite). The highrise is nearly identical in colour and in material with the vintage Neo Cabby MM. The Papillon I returned had a brighter blue tone.

Hey @MeepMeep67 and thank you so much and @Lvoe1238 thought I'd shoot my denim pieces again, as of today for reference...



I did hear from one of my followers on my Instagram DM's she was convinced her denim bumbag looked darker than mine. She said she had watched all my YouTube videos and Instagram Reels to try to figure it out (as I shoot my videos in all different natural sunlights to try to show the truest colour to the viewer) and seemed to come to that conclusion.

Thank you both The vintage bags I have are all second hand finds. Still hunting for a very good condition vintage camera bag in denim but not paying the crazy prices asked at the moment
