Perfect size on you!Thank you! The denim has some 'thickness" to it but it's not thick per se, but is sturdy enough to be a bag. It's appears to have 2 layers as the inside has denim lining to it.

WOW! Your conversion is absolutely BEAUTIFUL; amazing job!My Apple Garde came in and I put 3 layers of Apple Garde on the vachetta (drying 20 to 30 mins in between each coat) and now less then half of the can is left! Hahaha! My accessories came in from Aimere Luxury to do my conversion of the Denim Cosmetic GM. I got the Felice like chain and the skinny vachetta strap. Yes, I converted it. Lol. The size of the GM makes a perfect bag, the price is more reasonable for the size and the vachetta and studs are beautiful! I already have a wide vachetta strap and a Coussin chain and those look great too. I HAD to do it! Lol.I didn't scotch guard the denim yet though. I haven't decided yet on which one I will use.
I'd go for it. Worse case, you return it. As long as it's within the 30 day window, you'll be fine. It's such a great looking bag. I think it's worth the risk.Every time I go to pull the trigger on the Nano Speedy I see a post like these (not my photos; credit to @kristinvuitton & @louisvuitton.riri on IG) with the pocket all wonky that makes me reconsider! 😬 I wish I could just go to my local store and view it in person, but none in my area have it. Ultimately I think I will just order it online and cross my fingers for one with the pocket sewed on correctly! 🤞😅
I do not understand WHY LV would allow their standards to get so LOW! They were one of the few that set the bar at one time. I'm not going to compare these 2 brands however Tory Burch...all the bags I bought in the Lee Radziwill line and in the Eleanor, the craftsmanship is literally PERFECT! I'm thinking LV must have less experienced artisans doing the denim and canvas bags and the more experienced artisans (that probably get paid more too) are the ones that work on the higher end leather and exotic skin bags, like the Capucines. They will cut corners where they can. It makes no sense that an artisan is not able to sew a pocket straight. Hi @Debbie65 I am realiy loving it so far, it's so easy to wear. Yes the luggage tag is one of those cute touches but no where to put your name inside it lolWowHow are you liking the denim bum bag? I think it's so cute and love the luggage tag! It's perfect! The price is hard for me to swallow but I do love it! I am liking the denim Cosmetic Pouch GM. Love the vachetta and the studs and tne size makes a perfect "bag" for me which is what I would do. I know people aren't into bag conversions but I don't mind it at all! Lol. I hope I like mine and have no regrets
The past year I've also had trouble with poor made bagsmultiple occassions I had to re-order a bag because of quality issues and with my latest bag only the third one was good and I dare to say I'm not the pickiest client out there. It does take the fun away for me, with every order I do I catch myself being a bit nervous about the outcome.

Let me know how you go with the CP GM and I love me a bag conversion, I was doing them with all my TP26's from wayyyyy back in the day. Why not make it work for you I say x
Very interesting points that you are making here. With the chips in place, it is no longer obvious to the the buying public where the manufacturing took place. Is it the new hiree in the Texas factory or the seasoned artisan from Asnières-sur-Seine leather atelier? Besides, leather work is completely different than sewing denim. I am sure LV did this denim collection in a particular production run and since it is a seasonal line didn’t really invest much more training time. Kind of like a one off and it’s done thing so moving on to the next. It is a business after all and they see this collection as a quick money maker. Sad but unfortunately true.I do not understand WHY LV would allow their standards to get so LOW! They were one of the few that set the bar at one time. Thanks for pointing me to your above post and great job on your denim conversion @Debbie65 it looks so FAB! Plus you could fit a ton in that GM, I think it seems really practical. Re the TPP26's I've always used the samorga inserts for my all my TP26's and they've always been good to me, but good to know your suggestion as well. I have so many different LV straps that are detachable, I just love playing around and mixing them all up on my other LV bags. Hope the weather improves there for you and that the floods aren't too bad xOoh good to know about the lugguage tag! Lol. It's so cute I wouldn't even care if there was no place to add my name! Lol.
Yes I had the T26 as well and did the organizer insert with the D rings and added the strap but it just annoyed the HECK out of me as my zipper would not stay completely zipped due to the D rings connected to my strap! I got so fed up I sold my T26 as keeping it for ONLY toiletries didn't make practical sense to me. Hahaha! Later I regretted it as now I discovered Aimere Luxury which has the PERFECT conversion (encasement) for the T26. If you never seen it, we'll you need to go to the website and see it now! Lol. GAME CHANGER! You'll thank me later! Hahaha! Seriously!I bought one for my LV Nice nano and just recently for my Classic Speedy 25 DE. I LOVE THEM BOTH!
As far as my denim Cosmetic GM conversion....imo...it is STUNNING! LOL I'm loving it but was only able to take it out once. I'm in southern California and it's currently raining cats and dogs out here with flooding! I sprayed half the can of Apple Garde on the vachetta (no, i REALLY DID. LOL) but that's not enough imo for this crazy storm! My Speedy DE is my goto for rain. I'm not sure if you saw my conversion of my GM or not, but if you haven't, just scroll up a few notches on this post and you'll see it!![]()
I couldn’t agree with you more! I went to fashion design school and not a single one of my professors would’ve passed me (or any of my fellow classmates) if we had turned in a project as poorly sewn as some of the denim examples I’ve seen! I get that the Nano is a small bag, BUT that pocket is HUGE (relatively speaking)! And it’s a patch pocket, aka basically the easiest kind to sew. It’s just shocking to me that a seamstress could see something so obviously crooked and then it also passes QC?! Just crazy.I do not understand WHY LV would allow their standards to get so LOW! Oh thank you! Weather isn't as bad today as it was yesterday! My T26 insert was from Amazon. Maybe THAT is why I didn't have much success! LolThanks for pointing me to your above post and great job on your denim conversion @Debbie65 it looks so FAB! Plus you could fit a ton in that GM, I think it seems really practical. I’ve also noticed as the collection sells out that the bags look lighter and lighter blue. People preferred darker. Maybe I’m imagining it.I'd go for it. Worse case, you return it. As long as it's within the 30 day window, you'll be fine. It's such a great looking bag. I think it's worth the risk.
