I honestly don't understand who is going to purchase these.

There must be a market... but I m not sure either to be honest.

The Dillard's in Scottsdale had a display a few weeks ago. Completely overpriced! I was so surprised to see this!

Yes, we also have a store in one of our department stores (Galeria) in Frankfurt that sells vintage LV. It is extremely overpriced. I am wondering who is buying these as the LV store is just across the street.

In Frankfurt it´s a Canadian company that is specialized in selling vintage luxury bags. They also sell Gucci, Fendi and some other brands. But mostly LV.

One of the Dillard's SA said they were from estate sales ... but it's clearly via a third party company. They were in good condition but the prices were way too high.

OMG, I have seen so many fakes on ebay that were from "estate sales." I hope they're all authentic.

I have seen pre-loved LV at Lord and Taylor. It seemed so strange and out of place. Maybe for people who don't want to buy pre-loved online, and would rather buy in person? Although the prices were so much more money than online consignment shops, I feel like they are almost taking advantage of people.

I never thought Dillard's would get into the pre-loved market. I would to love to know the supply and demand for the type of purses there.

The vachetta on every bag looks like it has the exact same patina--not new, but excellent condition. Could a dealer have changed the vachetta on all of these bags? How interesting. If they are authentic, they all look great. Even overpriced, if they are less than retail, they could be appealing to a person who is not comfortable buying pre-loved online. But what will the ramifications of all that be? Interesting.
