Thank you for this reminder! One of my scarves from last year’s sale had the ‘S’ in a visible (when worn) position because I didn’t properly check before buying. Will remember that for this year.

Thank you for that reminder. I’ll need to stay vigilant and check the scarves. I would have thought the organiser/H would be considerate enough to just stamp the tag and not the actual scarf

The invite didn't mention homewares or fashion jewellery this time, so I'm wondering if it's going to be a more limited selection this year.

Jungle love scarves were in the last sale 2021 - hopefully they will feature again for you!

Otherwise, does anyone know if the sale items (esp silks and clothes) are as good in the last couple of days compared with the first few days? Not sure if it’s worth going if the good stuff will be gone by then.

There were still plenty of silk scarves in the last days - but not many cashmere scarves in nice colour ways. Thousands of twillies too - and I managed to pick up a twillaine long cardigan. By then however no more Oran’s. They all went in the first few days

Did you ever go to one at the back of the Grosvenor or Dorchester many moons ago (even before Music rooms.if my memory serves?) They even had SLG at that one.
the sales felt special and a privilege to attend then.
Now its hoards of re-sellers (in groups) with huge suitcases and bad attitude.
I think if this one was back in central london or Kensington I'd feel more excited but its a day off work, likely a 2 hour journey to get there, queue jumping and queuing ...I'm talking myself out of this by the hour...

I got the Arlettie invite this year but Hermes last year. Glad I saw this forum - I missed the part of it being at Ally pally. That does change the dynamics of whether to go ( especially as embarrassingly I have unworn items from last year :shocked:)

I got the 2-4pm slot not sure if there was any before that time. Remembering last year the first day (Saturday) had fewer slots and started in the afternoon.

The slots filled up quick because registration is now closed.

Appears that they have enabled but Sunday 18th looks to be fully booked.

Oh that actually makes sense now, as only two slots appeared on the first day (2-4, and 4-6).

I'm still awaiting for the invitation to be validated though, as it's currently pending.
