The packaging is adorable! I love the animal choices, it’s like a hit list of my favourite creatures. Luckily, nothing *really* grabs me - if I’d already been thinking of a brown compact hammock or mini pebble bucket bag I would have got the hamster ones, and same for the dark green cubi with the octopus and the mini puzzle fold tote with the boy and the squid on it. But I don’t think any of those bags will really work for me.
I don’t mind the embossing (debossing?) as a design feature but I was definitely looking for marquetry pieces.
Also I know this has been said before and isn’t about this collection but the switch from the stamped logo to the printed LOEWE really bothers me. I also think it’s placed too high. Like here I think the rabbits have been placed around the branding and I don’t like the amount of empty space below it.

The whale crossbody is making me lose sleep. I must have it. Should I keep refreshing the Loewe site to try to jump on it if it comes back in stock, or do a pre-order with Saks or Bergdorf? The pre-orders apparently won’t ship until March 2025.
I doubt the March 2025 shipping date is accurate but you can be insane like me and order the bag on Saks/Bergdorf and ALSO refresh the website like a madman. That's how I was able to snag some lovely HMC items, but you could definitely classify it as an unhealthy obsession lol
You can also contact your SA to source it for you! I have always been quite successful with that option too
Mytheresa also has it in stock!
I'm also wondering if anyone has heard of potential restocks. I feel like things sold out much quicker than last year's drop and I was curious to know if it was due to lower stock versus demand.
