Hehe thank you! Ended up purchasing in Japan recently

If anyone wants to find it in person, only Japan's stores have it in stock! Otherwise you'd need to order it online. Just a fair warning as with all leather, handcrafted charms, each one is different and I had to go through about 5 different ones to find my perfect shrimp friend!

I don’t think there’s an appreciable difference to this year’s flamencos though I didn’t really handle them all that much.

I only bought the octopus anagram tee for myself and my partner bought the rabbit anagram tee in black. Two tees! Lost track. I was considering the white whale tee (the one in the women’s collection) and my partner was considering the submarine tee but we didn’t pull the trigger yet. The white whale tee is very unique but also quite pricey, and my partner wasn’t fully sold on the color of the submarine tee.

We have quite a lot of Loewe tees and they have held up pretty well - I don’t even really baby them as I don’t send any of them to the dry cleaners and just wash them on the cold hand wash cycle in our washing machine. Collars have remained in great condition for all the tees we have.

Hi, is this the tee you bought? I don't really like the women's items, but this one is so cool.
How is the sizing with the mens shirts? Do you think a small woman could wear it without looking ridiculous?
And do you also have tees with print on them - do the prints hold up as well? Sorry for the many questions😇

Yup this is the one I got. Note that this is an oversized tee so while I am 1.8m with a regular build I size down to XS or S. this one I recall I took the S because XS was a bit snug. I think it’s ok for ladies too! I think some tees have XXS this time as well so it shouldn’t engulf you even if you’re petite!

Generally there are very few Loewe tees that are actually prints. Most of the designs are a combination of embroidery and fabric patterns, but the background could sometimes be subject to a silkscreen printing process. I believe the octopus tee is entirely embroidery for the anagram and then a fabric piece for the octopus IIRC. (Edit: But the octopus could potentially be a silkscreen print. Need to check when I pick up the items later!) All my Loewe tees have lasted multiple washes in the washing machine (hand wash mode) and I don’t exactly baby them. No dry cleaning except very occasionally when a white tee starts to look like it needs deeper cleaning. Everything had held up well so far - none of the prints have faded or come off in any way.

Hope that helps!

At least I got a submarine t-shirt for my dad, it's super cute. And a hamster and octopus charm, which is exactly the kind of whimsy and lovely I've been looking for. Last year almost the whole collection was sold out even before the launch date, and this year no apparent rush to buy it all  Also shows how uninspiring it really is...

If I’m not wrong they will only hold the item for up to 14 days so time your order and your arrival in Japan and it shouldn’t be an issue!
Thank you! I hope to be there in time after delivery. Also checked with my SA at the headquarters, she said they can contact the local store to hold longer should I arrive late. Now I am trying to think what to do with those holiday boxes—to throw away or to bring back!

@fettfleck have you decided whether you'll get the whale bag/charm?
Not yet. I find the small charm to small for me to be of any use and the larger whale bag, I love, but I would like to see it in real life first to decide, as it is quite small and I am a medium to large bag girl (luckily no expensive bag cravings here, as those are like are too small for me).
It is only of use to me, if I can get a minimum amount of certain stuff in it (like in the lemur from the last collection, but I think the whale is smaller as the lemur I guess is the size of that hamster).
Otherwise I would probably save my money for potentially upcoming LV Murakami collab.

But I think I‘d like to get one of the charms, only not sure yet, which one… I like three… 😅 But I already have tons of bag charms which I don‘t use… Do you plan to get anything?

I was so underwhelmed by the metal anagram charm with the octopus that we changed it to something else - the shrimp charm from the prior mini capsule of Suna Fujita. No longer a Japan exclusive it seems!

Our SA was very nice and gave us all the packaging and tissues and what not as well as the new Suna book (not a pop up book this time!). Will take photos later when we are home!

Tried on the whale bag and yes it holds less than the lemur due to the shape. It’s entirely a rehash of the Paula’s Ibiza whale from years back, just a different color way and find. Wasn’t particularly enchanted by how the bag sits on me either - while it’s an adjustable strap and finally long enough for us, both configurations of the strap on the whale bag somehow doesn’t allow the bag to sit flat against my body.

Didn’t take photos as I wasn’t very inspired.

That metal anagram charm is so cute, but from the photos on the website, I was also not sure if it is not a bit cheap looking… How did you like the golden anagram charms?
This is why I prefer to see everything in store first. Don‘t want the hassle with ordering online and sending back stuff…
The shrimp is a fabulous choice. It also still lives rent free in my head. 😅

I think the whale is cute if used as a clutch… But I don’t go out so much these days…
The strap will be too long on me as I am only 5“2‘, which is why I am hesitating ordering it… Do you think a regular iphone (not pro) would fit into it?

It’s really very small and I can’t envision any way of really using it and letting it shine. It will end up being hidden and not standing out. The quality is actually quite decent and the charm definitely has a heft and weight despite being so small

The rabbit in the moon charm is similarly small, though again it’s quite pretty. Just don’t know where I would really hang these.

You can definitely put a phone inside the whale, and it should still have space for things like a small cardholder or card case, some tissues or napkins and bits and bobs. It will hold more than you think it can hold but it will still not be a lot. Probably 2/3 the amount of the lemur? Stuffing the bag would be quite unsightly for sure though.
