I feel like they didn’t actually make as much of each item this year - last year it actually sold out even faster because most of the items were snapped up by the VICs and anyone offered pre sales. This year was a bit different, other than a few items the store was pretty well stocked on launch day.

I’d totally recommend you to get it, the embroidered details and craftsmanship overall are amazing, it’s very unique, I love it.I didn’t think I was going to get much from this collection but I ended up picking up a bunch of whales! The whale crossbody was a surprise buy although it took a bit of experimenting to figure out how to fix the strap to get it to sit right. I liked it best with one side of the strap clipped to the tip of the whale so that the belly lies flat against the body. Someone was asking what it fit:
1. Phone (16 Pro), wallet, lipbalm, tissue
2. Or I can swap the wallet and tissue for a small umbrella and a card holder! Oh, I also have the lemur from last year and the capacity feels about the same to me although the umbrella doesn’t fit in the lemur because of the shape
I got the little whale key pouch also because it is just so cute and I was thinking I could hang the baby whale on the big whale 😂 Would love to hear how others are making it useful! 😄

I'm tempted by the confetti octopus one! I have the madness and acquired the bear one from last year and the glass animals from a couple years ago - they feel super delicate but well made. Huge markup on the cost/quality of blowing the glass obviously but if there's one that sings to you it's not a bad splurge
I have the whale keychain from the Ibiza collection few years ago and love to stash some candies/ individually wrapped mints in it!
Went to pick up my flamenco and wow I'm so impressed! The leather and colour are absolutely lovely, it's basically the same colour as milk chocolate.
This is my first flamenco so I can't comment on if the leather is thinner (like the flamencos for the last drop) but I'm satisfied.
My SA also told me that special packaging was delayed for all of NA, so I just got all regular packaging for now... she said she'd give them to me when they come in next week or so

Thanks all! The whale has been ordered from mytheresa. I actually tried to order it at 4am after getting my baby to go back to sleep for the nth time and my credit card company was like she cannot seriously be buying luxury goods at 4am? But the answer is yes she was, yes she was.
