The cubi messenger is classic calfskin and feels pretty good and sturdy! I don’t get the feeling that it’s cheaper or thinner than other Loewe items I have in classic calfskin. My partner has the larger cubi messenger as a daily work carry and it’s pretty much the same feeling. Really quite happy with this one - apparently I was the only one that preordered this and it will be the only piece that comes into Singapore via the retail stores at least.

It is normal if you bought from NM. I am from the US too and think that neither will likely help you out. I am sure Loewe will be getting some returns though to fulfill some orders with special packaging though. People started getting their packages early/mid this week and the return window is closing soon for those purchases. Personally, I am returning my bags from Loewe directly unopened because I was able to pick them up from elsewhere for enough of a discount that I was OK with going though with the hassle and foregoing the special packaging.
Anybody had any issues with returning to Loewe directly? I noticed on the return info it said packages are not insured for a return so if anything is lost or damaged you are basically SOL. I wonder if DHL will sell insurance separately from the return shipping provided by Loewe--if anybody knows please post otherwise I will try to find out from DHL directly.
Loewe has a holiday return policy right now! So don't fret we'll be able to snag some returns for a while 😉 Also I think they'll likely restock this collection at least 1x
For USA Returns they're usually all to a contracted warehouse that specializes in receiving returns and inspecting them. I believe a lot of luxury houses use the same warehouse because I've returned Dior items to the same address I believe. Also online returns are not by DHL, they use UPS!

Good to know! I assumed it was DHL since they did the delivery. I feel better knowing you have shipped to that address before. I do slightly worry about packages getting lost or stolen while in transit though since their policy is no insurance on packages shipped back to them.
With things like this, I usually like to make sure I'm using a credit card that's got really good customer protection. Not sure if others have some advice on this though....

We were invited to a dinner by Loewe tonight and it was a fun night out. We went with some of our Suna Fujita pieces as did some other guests. Of course most of us were carrying or wearing Loewe and we came into contact with the HMC cow bag for the first time! It’s such a lovely bag! Kicking myself for not ordering it when I had the chance to!
Also saw the lemur bag in person and much as it remains a not very useful bag, it’s so stinking cute!!!!!
We were also each gifted with a candle and one of the candle toppers. Very lovely night out and great gift for the holidays!

I’m very new to Loewe (and luxury brands in general) - came in via my interest in Studio Ghibli and then k-pop particularly Taeyong. I wanted to share my little mandragora! I love him. Here he is next to tyongya (a k-pop 10cm doll)
I have really only purchased Loewe SLGs before and don’t live near a physical store so I can’t check any bags in person. Have really appreciated this thread as I wouldn’t know to be wary of satin calfskin otherwise!

My scarf came with the penguin-themed box and matching tissue paper. I did not receive a shopping bag or stickers etc. It might be different in other countries though (I am from Germany) 
I also got the panda scarf and really love it! It is exceptionally soft
