It was this Amazona from Spirited Away collection. Sold out everywhere and unable to find even with insiders. Only for those who got them early. The bag was resold for over 8000$. So this year I really made sure I have the amazona from this collection! For Totoro collection, I think it’s the Totoro large hammock which I happened to get 2 days before the preview!
The puzzles of all sizes are much easier to find.

Yesssss I still think that this one is the most beautiful of all the leather items they've made across all three collections, though I also thought the Chihiro blanket was pretty special though have never seen it on (re)sale

And I can see that being the case for the large Totoro hammock.

The RTW never seems to retain value

What will the item be from this collection?

Last year I ordered a spirited away hoodie from MT (or was it farfetch I actually can’t remember now!?) and it came with the Loewe + spirited away animated box but if I remember correctly every order placed on the Loewe website came with a spirited away notepad and/or stickers which I missed out on. I assume it will be the same for this collection

I feel like the most special bags (other than the castle bag) are the calcifer shearling flamenco and the Howl Sophie amazona.

Oh, it did not work with me. I could not remove the strap alone, it then cancels also the leather charms…

Too bad also that I jumped the ship on Mytheresa first for the calcifer leather charm because these pieces did not pop up until now on my Loewe page. I have been searching for those since the presale… They really added those late… I will try to cancel the Mytheresa order because I wanted to the Heen one also.

Btw. I saw this pic on Selfridges. Obviously you could also add it to a bag strap…

Hadn't seen a "real" photo of the Amazona until this pic... So thank you. It's really lovely (probably second only to the Haku Amazona one from the Spirited Away collection)

I'd add the Magic Sky hammock this year but maybe that's just initial infatuation and my bias

The shearling is stunning but for some reason I can't get myself to value that much for shearling versus the leather marquetry...

I have both blankets from the last collection! To be honest they are very pretty but they were just there sitting on sofa collecting dust. :smile: I love Loewe RTWs though…so fun and very well made. I got to go to their fashion show in Paris last year and I wore their RTWs daily…seeing many others at the show wearing many Loewe pieces wes really fun! :smile: that being said I think ‘the piece’ for this year might be the black amazona or the magical sky hammock bag…and not to forget the rare castle bag!

My small orange calcifer puzzle that I bought like 6 hours post-launch just shipped! Guess it's not a bug afterall and and they really do have a million of them in stock.

Also just wandered over to mytheresa and got the last black califer slim wallet that I missed out on at launch.

This has all worked out so much better than I expected... And entirely through dumb luck

I think I’ll forever lust after that blue Spirited Away Amazona … but honestly, knowing its status, I’d probably never use it if I owned one. The marquetry puzzles are a little bit special but a common enough bag that I feel fine toting them about.

Do you guys like Amazonas in general? I know it’s an iconic Loewe model but I have to say I’ve never been as drawn to them as I have to other Loewe bags. They seem a bit bland for the prices they command.

I’m not sure I quite like the look of the shearling Calcifer flamencos. Maybe I’d like them more in person. I just got off work and am heading to my local pop up, but I’m curious to see what will actually be available. Last year’s Spirited Away pop up was quite sad looking because everything sold so fast they were just padding it out with regular stuff. :lol:

You HAVE to take a photo of the Chihiro underwater blanket!!!!

On the "piece this year," the moving castle bag is insane and I don't even know what one would do with it except put it on a shelf as a museum piece. Please someone take lots of photos :P

On the "more realistic piece this year," did they at least make more inventory of the black and light blue amazona this year?!? at least saw more spread across more online sites

What about the cape or the feather sweater? Has anyone seen those in person??
