Got back from the Selfridges event and managed to get the candle.
Packaging:
The SA who assisted me said no stickers but not sure if that’s cause I bought only the candle. I will be claiming my Puzzle Friday afternoon at CASA Loewe with my regular SA, so we’ll see about the stickers. I got a poster though.
Selfridges had a pop up outside with some pastries & hot drinks.

It want until almost an hour post launch that products were available to purchase due to their system glitch. If you were on when it was available to everyone then must be your link or location. Maybe luck with the public launch

The Selfridges décor looks amazing! I'm debating whether I go to my nearest store tomorrow or to the pop up. Of course the pop up location is the least convenient for me of the four(?) stores offering the collection in Hong Kong, but I want to see if it has cool stuff.

I was like you! I totally love calcifer on the nugget and as @vachefou said the shape matches so well with the character, also bag size looks reasonable for me, but I wasn‘t sure about orange, too.
But I figured, I wear alot of black or neutrals as white or beige colors and that actually should work with it. Also, I am not Hermes person, as too expensive, but orange is a very popular color there, too. So I guessed it should be doable, when that color is so popular there.
The last point was, I was obsessed with the LV x YK Alma BB in red and was also wondering about the color there, but trying it in store it was totally good despite the ‚loud‘ color!
So I went for it! I am really excited to see how it works in real life!
will the items come with a box too when purchasing in store or just paper bag and dust bag if any?
Hi! I'm not sure about the bags cause I won't be receiving mine until Friday. But both the candle and the brass dice I got this morning came in a box so perhaps the bag would too?
ETA: My Totoro Puzzle came in a box, so I would expect these bags to come in boxes too.
I came over here to catch up on the chatter only to see that the pr-launch already happened earlier today when I had it on my calendar as tomorrow (you are telling me there's more than one timezone called EST?!) But I just went to the website and was able to get the one thing I wanted (small orange calcifer puzzle) no problem, though seems a lot of items are truly sold out. Really thought I completely missed the boat there for a minute. I thought the orange calcifer items would be the first to go! I feel like they either have a huge amount of stock of these, or else I'm going to get a cancellation email soon... It feels too easy.
Also, glad this worked out because my plan B was to go to the boutique on launch, but I didn't know the only thing I wanted was an online exclusive!

What on earth is going on with Selfridges website? Items showing in stock, click on add to bag and nothing happens.
Website says you can buy from 2 Feb, but also says for sale from 10am. Half the things I looked at went from unavailable to sold out without ever showing available.
Selfridges website stock management is atrocious at the best of times (how hard is it to have an 'in stock' toggle) but this is a layer cake of lameness.

I think Selfridges is in-store only today, then online from 2nd Feb. They’re probably getting things listed on the website in preparation but then locking the stock until tomorrow!
I agree their stock is normally a mess though, had lots of issues during their sale where I could add to basket but then suddenly the item was out of stock, but then still showed as in stock on site for hours.

I think last year it took a while for a lot of people, and it said 2-7 days for delivery when I put the order through. Hope is not lost!
i need the brass dice to complete my ghibli charm (currently have totoro and no face, would love turnip and calcifer) stack :’( hoping they drop on the website tomorrow
