The lizards are so pretty in color. i wish i had a jige or clutch in something fuschia lizard or blue jean. someday!
Oh my...Lizard has been on my mind and now this thread has totally pushed me over! I am in love with Patz's 25cm birkin...what a stunning POP of red!! I have a SO that was put into the Feb podium for a BJ Shoulder Birkin in Clemance. Recently I have been wondering if I should decline when it comes in....I have a 35cm etoupe clemance and its SOOOOOOO heavy! I am seriously concerned that the JPG will be heavier even though I can wear it on my shoulder. I actually have made up my mind to stick with the lighter leathers from now on...chevre, box, etc. Considering the 25cm lizard is similar in cost to the JPG shoulder what do you guys think? Another day bag or hold out for a lizard? Patz do you use your lizard strictly as a night bag? BTW- Congrats on your baby!!
luxchic - thank you! i mostly carry it for dinner or brunch. with the amount of stuff i carry everyday, it's not practical to tote it while shopping but it's ideal for a dinner date, cocktail parties, brunch, tea parties etc.

How old is this vintage lizard 35 kelly? [ I'm taking a scientific survey of the experts.] The reseller said it was "approximately 30 years old" in the ebay listing that I bought it from. I think it is far older. PLEASE HELP. [I know this is off topic - but it is a lizard.]

IMO, the closest to etoupe in lizard is ficelle! and ficelle is darker than blanc (sort of like light mocha)......

Im settling on a clutch....either jpg mini kelly or jige elan...cant make up my mind with skin and color!
I am so much attracted to lizards in bright colors but dh talked me out of it and urged to save it to other H bag. He wants a neutral color for the clutch (black!!!). I like raisin (he said choosy color for my wardrobe), i showed him etoupe (its a

I was at the hermes boutique in BalHarbour last weekend and saw a gorgeous Jige in orange lizard...it was the tiny size though
