Sorry if this has been discussed before, but I dug through the thread and could not find anything. Does black lizard tend to age better compared to lighter shades? Can anyone speak to the aging process of noir or dark colors vs lighter? I am assuming it can't yellow the same way light shades do

Dark colours in general age beautifully like this vintage H.

The main thing to watch out for with lizard is letting the hide dry out (it needs to be periodically hydrated to avoid the scales drying up and falling apart)

Via H spa or at your own risk with a specialty reptilian leather conditioner such as Saphir’s “Reptile cream”

I am going to the exotic shoe lab next month- very excited as I haven’t been. I am hoping for some lizard options, but it seems like I don’t see very many Hermes lizard shoes in general. I would LOVE jumping boots if that is a possibility….
