No problem. Yes, the pre-wired full deposit was to secure the Place Vendôme bracelet. I reached out 3 months ahead to my Paris SA whom I purchased from roughly a year ago, and the transfer didn't happen until 1 month prior to picking up. One doesn't secure the bracelet until the deposit has been wired. When I picked it up in person, the deposit was then applied to the actual transaction, and we could then receive the VAT refund. I think 3 months was probably very very early, but I heard stock has been low so I did it anyway. I've only purchased twice from this SA including this transaction, but I felt that we really clicked. If you don't have an existing SA, I'd recommend visiting the store as many times as you can during your stay. I do see some that were able to *score* the Place Vendôme pieces without any prearrangements from time to time. I also didn't meet this wonderful SA until my second visit to the store last year. Paris magic does happen some times, don't give up!Wow thank you so much for the information!! This is so helpful. Was it Palace Vendome that you wired the money to/picked it up at? Yes - it was €3,150 for the single pendant. There are also 20 motif long necklace and 5 motif bracelet for this collection, which i am unsure about the pricing. I can't remember how much VAT refund we received after the credit card fees. I want to say we got about roughly 12% back?Hi,

Oh I see, so it took 2 months after your request for them to secure one for you? What % of the total price is the deposit? (Im trying to keep some cash on hand in case!) Unfortunately the SA i bought from this past june is not very helpful. When I emailed her about the Princess grace pendant she just told me “sorry we dont have it anymore”. When i responded by saying on the website it says it should be available until Jan 2024 or at least December 2023 and if it would be possible to buy still, she never responded. I also emailed 2 other people at Vendome though, I think one is the store manager and the other person is in client services? The manager said he was waiting on availability of the pendant and he would let me know! Fingers crossed!!! Hoping for that Paris magic you mentioned
For the Vendôme bracelet it was 100% deposit. I assume the same rule applies for other pieces, but I am not certain. Good luck to you and let us know if you end up securing whichever piece your heart desires

Are you trying to buy something from this collection as well? The store manager of Vendome responded saying “all pieces from the collection are sold out” yesterday july 31st. Im not sure if it means its just sold out at the moment, but they didn’t offer to put me on a waitlist or anything. They just said let me know if we can help you buy a different piece. Yes, hoping to acquire something from this collection when I go to Paris. Based on what I read here, it doesn’t sound like they will have any inventory. I will pop in anyway and just ask, in case the sun, the moon and the stars are aligned.

Disappointing that their website says it should be available until Jan 2024 but they ended production early? (At least thats what it sounds like from his response) (2 different people at Vendome told me they were sold out)
Keep us updated if you get anything though!! Maybe there will have been an exchange or somehow one floating around. Regardless, Paris is amazing so have best time! How long will you be there?
