Hi there, Chika told me at the beginning of Year 2021 she had moved back to Paris and not working anymore. I believe if you land in Tokyo, just go straight to Ginza Six VCA boutique, they have that Ginza special edition available all the time. Please post when you get it .

Next time if you have opportunity visiting Tokyo again, you can call the boutique before your trip asking for Boutique Store Manager Chika. She is super nice and professional, transferring from VCA Paris to Ginza around 2 years ago. Supposedly she worked for Cartier before.

Before I visited Ginza last October called the store a couple months in advance, and was able to connect with her via phone and then email, and message app. I asked her to reserve one Ginza special edition pendant for me to pick up by letting her know the arrival date. During all the months communication, she was super helpful even offered information for the restaurant or tour if we needed. I had great time visiting the store and picked up the pendant, and browsed all other beautiful items. Of course she was hoping I would purchase the long Ginza special edition necklace with combination of magic pave diamond motif, Alhambra and Byzantine, which would be over CAD$76000. Hopefully it can be done next time.

oh may we see your ginza purchases? Ah i got confused with the shinjuku items which i have been lusting over.

Yes, they should still be making it. It was launched last July, and the production run was for 18 months I think. So you still have a few months to pick one up.

So i bought a white MOP necklace in Paris this past June. I didnt know about the special edition necklace until after I left Paris, but when I got back to the states I emailed my SA if VCA is still making this (because yes according to the webiste it was supposed to be produced for 18 months, beginning July 2022, so it should still be produced in theory), but my SA responded saying VCA is not making it anymore. I don’t really trust her though. I feel like she might just be telling me no because she knows I was just visiting France and now I’m back, and they only sell it in those three locations in France. Anyway just wondering if anyone has any real personal experience seeing this in the last couple months while in France (Cannes, Monaco, Paris, specifically as they only sell that limited edition piece there apparently). Kind of insane but I’m willing to fly to Paris again if they still had it!! I cant stop thinking about it.

Ahh interesting! I was also at Palace Vendome this June! Thanks for the info. So basically you saw the special edition online, contacted your SA for one (paid at that time) and just picked it up June of this year?

I do have some other email addresses for people who work at the Vendome location. Do you think it would be undermining my SA if I reached out to them and asked the same question, even though she already responded and said VCA doesn’t have it anymore? I’ve only seen one on the resell market and it was around $5,500!!!! I know this is way more than retail

hmm thank you! Someone here said they were at Vendome in late june (same as me) and they were able to track one down for them… so it kind of seems like my SA just doesn’t want to help me locate one. Someone else here said they were looking for the bracelet and had been asking for it, and VCA said they had to come buy it in person and it would probably be sold by the time they got there even if they got there the next day. ☹️

I think that it also depends on if you are in France. When my SA had the bracelet, I asked if a friend who was in France could pick it up for me, but that I would pay for it and have my name on the receipt. She said that she could hold it for my friend to come purchase it, but that only the person there physically could make the purchase. So I could not wire the money and have someone else pick it up, and they would also not let me wire the money and pick it up later (I am in the USA), though I'm sure they can make an exception for some clients.

Do you know if wiring to prepay is reserved for VIP customers? Someone else here said they would not allow her to do that at Vendome. They said she had to physically be there in person to buy. I emailed my SA again to clarify if they still had the pendant but she didnt respond I may reach out to the store manager to see if theres any way for me to get this still
