I have a Lanvin Amalia which I have had for about 2 years. It was in my closet most of the time. I was surprised to see the gold coin tag change a bit in color when I took it out today. It sort of like tarnished. Is that normal? What should,I do? Help!

I LOVE the Lanvin bag I have. It is the navy leopard medium happy from a 2010 collection. It's pretty new to me and my only gripe so far is that my grosgrain bow is a little crushed from I suppose being stored for so long. (By the looks of the bag it wasn't even carried once). Has anyone had the same problem and how did they fix it? Also, does Lanvin have a 'spa' program like Hermes? And finally, what is the best way to store the happy? Anyone want to donate one of those gorgeous blue boxes to me?

Hello everyone! Does anyone own a Jet Set bag? I've searched hi and low for so many years and now I finally have it in my hands!!! But something's off about it. Maybe I'm being paranoid but can you blame me?! Haha....I bought it from ebay (scary, I know) but with so little facts/details/info about the bag and I've never seen one irl, it's really difficult to be sure of its authenticity. I own a lot of Chanels, LVs, Gucci...etc...and so I know first hand the quality of each designer bag. I've also seen knock offs and you just know when a bag is fake. The quality of this Jet Set bag I received isnt bad, it's just isn't what I expected from a bag that retails origally for $1600....and it's Lanvin!

I posted this in the Authenticate thread but I haven't gotten any response. I don't know if its okay to post this question here but I wished someone anyone would help. Here is a few info on this bag :

I have a black leather rectangle clutch that I carry in my work bag. I use it to go to dinner, happy hour, etc. after work to avoid lugging around my larger work bag. Both the leather and the hardware are fabulous.

You're welcome. I was just familiar with the style - not comenting on the specific bag in question. I haven't seen/heard of many fake Lanvin bags, but nothing surprises me these days - you can never be too careful. With seasonal sales at Lanvin (up to 50% off) and the department stores (Neimans/Bergdorf/Barneys = up to 75% off), I see no need to buy from unknown websites and the like! Wish we had more resources on TPF for us Lanvin lovers!

Hi guys - I fell in love with this Lanvin on NM last year, but couldn't justify the price on this bag $2000+. I'm seeing one that is advertised as NWT on ebay, but I'm not a Lanvin expert and was wondering if someone could verify this is authentic? At first glance, it looks legit. I'm also unfamiliar with asking Bloomie's/NM SA's (saw it online only), does anyone know how I would go about this? Thanks!
