I finally got the Navy Leopard Happy!!
I L:heart:VE it soooooooo much!!
(and of course, the day after I bought this one, a Mastic Quilted one showed up on ebay!!)
What makes it even more exciting is that I found this on NAP's UK site and with the exchange rate being so low right now, I got it for almost $300 LESS than what I would have had to pay if I had gotten it from Lanvin!! :yahoo:

I did a reveal here:

(my first in the General Handbag thread in YEARS!)

here's a couple of pics for the Lanvin thread tho -- for future reference!

Do you live in the Windy City of Chicago? I'm just curious because I went to the NAP UK site and the U.S. isn't listed among the cities they ship to, but I would love to take advantage of the savings if I can.

I wish everything worked out like that - they have the PS1 in a color I want, but it actually ends up MORE than what it would cost to buy one here, so I guess it depends on the Designer.

It does – Lanvin is a European brand and therefore "cheaper" in Europe, while Proenza Schouler is American. That explains the price difference.

Yes, I live just outside the City of Chgo.
I believe they ship anywhere within the US.

In order to find out the final price, you have to add the item to your cart and add your shipping address (so you have to start the checkout process) - they deduct the VAT, so the price is lower than what's shown, but then they add the duties (customs) and 30GBP for shipping. I used the site xe.com to figure out the conversion once I knew how much it would be - when all was said and done, it was a little more than $250 less than what it would have cost me to buy it from Lanvin

iluvmybags - Thanks for the info! I would have never thought of doing that. In addition to the quilted Happy that I'm dying for (unfortunately not on their site), NAP has a python Chloe Marcie that I want and I'm curious to see how much I can save if I order it through the UK site. I'm gonna check it out now.

Unfortunately, you wouldn't have been able to get the Python bag from the UK site - they won't ship "exotics" outside the UK. I wanted to buy a Miu Miu Wallet from them that I can't find here, but it's made of Buffalo leather, which I guess they consider "exotic" and I got a message that said that it can't be shipped to me

^^gorgeous!! congrats on your beautiful navy leopard happy! :yahoo:

does anyone have any suggestions for smoothing out the ribbon? Mine got all smashed and wrinkled from being packaged in the box. You can't really see the Bow at the end, it's just a wrinkled mess!

My new accessories for my Navy Leopard Happy: the matching cosmetic case which I found in the London Mount Street boutique, and a Longchamp Roseau small purse/wallet in Petrol.

Lots of pics - I know iluvmybags was concerned about how much space it would leave inside the bag.

In fact with the cosmetic case containing lip balm, comb, meds, blotting papers and other bits, plus the new small purse, glasses, tissues in holder and my Filofax pocket organiser there is still some room to spare - it looks as if it would bulge at the front but when you close the bag it all lies nicely.

The case looks great TP -- you have a smaller wallet tho
Mine is longer, almost a full size wallet
I know once I find a smaller wallet, the case will work for me!!
It's just with the wallet I have now combined with the case -- that's why it takes up too much room (that's the Longchamp wallet, right?)

Gorgeous x3!

Good to see it fits a pocket organiser, that means I would be able to use it for work... if I ever happen to buy one... lol
