I absolutely think you can use this as an every day bag, it's huge! You can easily fit a thin magazine or a book in there on top of your other daily essentials

I have the large Happy, purchased it in Paris last July. I am in LOVE w/ the bag, perfect for everyday, much more so than a Chanel Jumbo IMO.
It holds a lot and the leather is good quality. I also purchased the smaller Chevron Happy from Barney's and returned it.

I just discovered this bag. I saw it featured in this week's issue of InTouch magazine and as soon as I saw it, I knew I had to find out more about it! I've read through some of the posts here, did a little online searching and I'm a little confused by a few things and hope that someone can help me out.
It seems like there are diff sizes of this bag, is that correct? Looking on Barneys website, I see there's a "GM" and a "MM" - are these the same as the "Happy Shoulder Bag" only diff sizes?
I really like the quilted one I added to my signature - looking at Lanvin's site, I'm guessing they refer to this as the "Crinkled Leather Happy" rather than quilted. Is that right? Does anyone know where to find the quilted version like the one in my signature? I see it on the Lanvin website, but it says that it's only available in Black or Off-White, but it shows the Black and Brown.
I called the Nordstroms on Michigan Ave since they carry Lanvin and he said they have the soft leather version in Black and Red and the printed Leopard version. I'll have to get over to the store to see them in person - the leopard sparked some interest, but I really love the quilted and sorta want to hold out for one of those (now, if the quilted was no longer available, I might be swayed by the leopard!)
I know I've asked a lot of questions, but anything anyone can offer would be much appreciated. I'm usually a dedicated MJ girl, but lately have been wanting to branch out and explore other designers to see what I've been missing. From what I've seen so far of the Happy Bag, I could be cheating on MJ very soon!!

You can still get the quilted Happy in a Taupy Brown like your signature at the Lanvin store in Vegas or Bal Harbour. Also, Barney's will have it next month.
Barney's also has the leapord version...very cool bag.
The quilted version has been all over the mags because of the celeb buz and Katie Holmes, Reece Witherspoon, and SJP all have the Happy Quilted in that Taupe color....it is a little bigger than a jumbo-look at the thread and you will see pics of the bag you are interested in...
