Sorry can't ID it but I'm seriously jealous!!! This bag is gorgeous. It looks to have similarities to the Ombre Flap bag but I'm guessing it's smaller?

Thanks silverfern! I haven't seen the ombre irl but based on the dimensions it's maybe a little smaller but not by much. I measured my bag and it's approx 12-1/2 x 10 x 4. I'm thinking I got a fall 2010 sample since the only other bag like this was in the fall 2010 runway show. I'm loving it. I need to take more pics and share with you all- I promise I will!

Yep, that's totally it! I wonder what other colors it will come in.
ha ha, yeah, there are some definite shopping perks to living in new york city! while most of the best bag finds are on bay/bonanzle i do occasionally find a gem like this. i'd never really considered lanvin before seeing this bag but once i picked it up and felt how soft it was i was a convert! now i'm slowing falling in love with other bags - that happy bag is starting to really call my name!
