Thanks for posting the review, especially since this style is relatively new with not much info on how it actually wears on and functions out-and-about. From your experience, I now have a better sense that not only would it be a good "about town" bag, but would also be a great travel bag that allows you to keep items close to, and in front of, your body. The tan is such a beautiful color under natural sunlight, very rich and warm. If you don't mind, would love to hear a follow up review after some more wear-in time has passed!
So I thought I'd follow up on my Pin City after nearly one year. This bag is great at what it does. If this style of bag appeals to you, I would give it a very high recommendation. I have not seen a better version of this style of bag and I've been looking. There are a few things that I'd share after kicking this around for 11 months:

1. Still looks as good as new. Delvaux's jumping calf leather holds its shape and is durable - this bag is not given the white glove treatment.
2. People ask about it a lot. I regularly get asked about this bag or get compliments about it when shopping. I was asked about it in Hermes by my SA. Male and female servers often ask about it in restaurants. This week I was asked about it by an SA in a Chanel boutique. She asked if in came in black. My sense was she has a boyfriend or male partner who would be interested. After a short chat, she thanked me and walked away, and pulled up her phone no doubt to look more details up on the Delvaux website.
3. This bag is rare - I've not seen another Pin City in the wild.
4. I've never used the front exterior pocket.
5. My one criticism is that if you have loose change in the bag, it's hard to access. The bag opening is somewhat limited as you can see below (BTW, the zipper is fully open in the picture). For the bag opening to be wider, Delvaux would need to change the pocket gusset, zipper length, and change the leather to a more pliable version. However, these changes could have downsides to losing the overall structure of the bag. So, for this version of the bag, I would recommend using a change purse rather than needing to access loose coins. This way, less struggle.

All in all, I have no post purchase regrets, and feel this is a unique and wonderfully designed bag. Bravo, Delvaux!

Now I just need to figure out if I should get a Brillant or a Tempete (leaning towards the Brillant in Rodeo Calf )...

It’s a very cool bag and quite practical too!

I was offered this one when it first launched.

Definitely a unisex bag as you mentioned!

Thank you for the detailed review!

Ya’ll - my MTO Delvaux is here!! I was in NYC for work these last few days, and my SA texted me to let me know the bag had just arrived from France. The timing was perfect - I headed over to the 5th Ave store to pick up my new bag.

My bag is the black crispy calf Tempete with black shiny hardware. The bag is EXTREMELY well made; I just bought and returned a Chanel bag just two weeks prior, so it’s very interesting to compare the quality of both. The leather smells divine, and I love the veiny-ness of the leather and how robust it is.

Overall, it was a ~4month wait for my bag which is more than reasonable for a made to order bag. The SA said black hardware will no longer be available so I consider myself very lucky. I am very impressed with Delvaux customer service and will stay loyal to the brand.

Hi! I recently discovered the world of Delvaux and have been drooling over the beautiful photos you all post!

I’m interested in a Cool Box in the Cloud color. Can anyone explain what the color looks like in person? On my screen, it appears to be a cool-toned gray. Is it more blue or gray? Warm or cool-toned? Unfortunately, there are no boutiques near me, so any insights would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!
Are these your pictures or IG? The first one looks really dark on my screen, almost like concrete gray, compared to other two pics…
If you have/seen any cloud color items, could you tell me whether they are blueish or grayish, cool/warm? Thank you again!
I’ve seen it. Looks just like the photos Misterdelvo posted. Like a cool gray with green undertone. Will look different in different lighting. In general looks more like pic 2

Congratulations, it's SO handsome

So beautiful! I wondered would it be possible if you take photo what it fits inside and how things organize? I'm still having hard time to decide between mm and pm? Help would be so much appreciated
Hi there! Sorry for such a delayed reply. I didn't get the notification of your message.

Here are a couple different options for what can fit in the pm :) I think it can fit a fair amount for its size!
