I love the flap it is wonderful....but my wallet feels differently....funny how the same expression can relate to both feelings..... LOL.

ITA! The price is a big turn-off for me, especially since I heard it's supposed to be a more casual bag.

Here are two new pieces that Nordstrom MOA has received from the Les Marais collection. The large tote is available in dark brown and retails for $2995. The small flap is currently available in dark brown or gold. It retails for $1795. The small flap is larger than the medium classic flap (A01112) and slightly smaller than the jumbo classic (A28600).

The tote is cute! The straps look rather short though...does anyone know how long they are and if they fit comfortably over the shoulder? What about over a coat??

They would not fit with a coat most likely....but otherwise it does fit over the shoulder.

I have the large tote and I wore it over a coat with no problem today. I can try it on with a really bulky coat later and report back, but I think most people could get away with carrying this one while wearing a coat.

It's a gorgeous bag! I love this line so much!

I just got the les marais gold small flap, it is so pretty! The price is reasonable compare to tote or bowler.

I tried on the large tote and LOVE LOVE LOVE IT !!!
I am getting it soon.
Its a nice snug fit on my shoulder without a coat- but I usually don't wear big bulky coats in the winter time anyway, so I feel there is enough room there. I was even thinking of having it altered .
But I love love love the bag !! Can not wait to get it.
The leather is so so great
