Question for those of you with the textured leather duffles...have you carried them in icky weather? I'm thinking the slight glaze to the leather makes it pretty hearty against the elements. Snow is in the forecast tomorrow (where is Spring already??), and while it certainly wouldn't be a hardship to switch to my patent Lindsay, I'm loving my duffle so much at the moment that I don't want to switch out! :p

I think you will be fine. I also noticed at Macy's last night that they had all the textured Candace on a table with all the other sale bags getting tossed around and falling on the floor. I inspected them all and there was no damage. I'm thinking the pebbled leather is all weather?

I use all of my leather bags in the rain and have no issue. Of course I don't stand out in the rain with them, but a few drops of rain here and there has done no damage.

Just make sure to dry off with a towel if the bag gets wet and you will probably be fine.

Okay ladies, I thought long and hard about it, and finally ended up choosing the black/multi colourblock large duffle on the FOS over the navy/fuchsia. I was worried about the navy/fuchsia colours being too funky, and I've already got a regular duffle in UV for when I want to funk it up LOL. In the end I just thought the black/multi would be more wearable for the everyday. I have not seen this colour combo IRL like I have the navy/fuchsia though (which I love BTW, I wish I didn't have to pick just one!), so I'm a little worried ... does anybody have the black/multi combo?

I hope I made the right decision, because with all the shipping/tax/duty costs to Canada, there's no way I'm returning it!

I have it in rory & it is gorgeous! I think you chose well! :)

I hope so too! (: I wonder how long it will take to get to Canada ... :D Is it more grey than brown? The stock photo is no good at all, the real photos I saw made it look so much better IRL. In the stock photo, the tassels aren't even matching with the right colour! (Stock photo shows them matching the main part of the bag, IRL real photos show them matching the front panel!)

I love the UV duffle so much, but I've only used it once because I'm scared about something happening to it as it's my only duffle ... my solution: buy more duffles! Always a good idea. :graucho:

I got navy fuschia today at outlet. Great pop

I carried my cognac duffle for the first time this weekend. Probably not a good idea since I was in a very crowded area. I carried it cross body the entire weekend. This morning when we were packing up to head home, I noticed my tassels are now gone. :( I'm very sad about this and I have no idea HOW they even came off! I made my husband take me back to where we were, and I walked the entire area, and went into every place we went into and asked if they found them. I'm very sad about this!

Wow, I don't see how the tassels could have come off, the way they are tied and all. Maybe you can call Coach and see if you can get replacement ones. It's a thought.

Can I get your opinions on another possible duffle. I have always liked the navy colorblock duffle (carmelian base, navy pocket and strap, and camel bottom). Since hitting the outlets and FOS I really want one. The dilema is I already have the solid carmelian, the black colorblock, and the fuschia colorblock ( navy base, fuschia pocket, and chocolate brown base). I was considering taking back my Carmelian, but I don't want to be stuck with only a colorblock version when I want to wear that color. What do you think or I should I just save my money for something else?
