I think it's stupid they put cloth on the bottom. I have a legacy siggy stripe duffle pilot bag - it is all leather on the bottom. I wouldn't have bought it if it had cloth on the bottom. Lame.
I waaaaant the brass black camel striped rugby duffle.....(its sold out on FOS)...i might be able to get 1 more bag...if i can't live w/o it...my hubby wants me to live and all. Anyone get 1? Do you love it?...i glanced through here and didn't see one (if i missed it, i'm sorry)... need info before we trek back out to outlet in the hopes of finding THE BAG! I can't take my eyes off it on FOS!

They are beautiful. I don't think they have the outside zip pocket though if that is important to you.
The cloth on the bottom doesn't bother me at all. I've owned many siggy bags that were all fabric and loved them. The material seems pretty durable, I don't think it would snag or fray like other fabric bags. You'd have to feel it to know what I mean. I don't sit my bags down anywhere that may get them dirty no matter what it's made of, so no worries there. Personal preference I guess. I've used mine a lot and it still looks like it did the day I bought it. I feel more carefree with this bag than I do my all leather legacy bags because I don't worry about it scuffing. From someone who owns and has used it a lot...it's a great bag and I love mine. You'll just have to see it in person to know if it's right for you.
thank you....thats something to consider...i'm curious about the lining too...i'm a sucker for a nice lining now. i have a very plain MFF sophia with a lavender satin lining - i swear i LOVE the lining more than anything...i wanna leave it laying around unzipped so people can see HE HE
Second that on the siggy bags, this is really no different.

).It is a classic bag that will last for years. The gold buckles, etc. are really lovely. The leather is to die for. AND it goes with EVERYTHING! How's that for enabling??? The one I got is the only one I've seen at outlets, but the FOS had it ...

yeah, thats why i want it. it would go with everything and i love it and its really the first bag i have seen that i love the double tassles on. live loooooove the tassles...usually i just think they are cute.

I have this one too! It's my Purple Friday bag.
I've used my UV duffle once & there is a small piece of leather coming off on the front My store is ordering me another one. But I'm angry because I called my outlet to see if they had any & the last one was being purchased as I was on the phone I just want the bag & can't worry that I'm not getting it at outlet price. I will try & see if the outlet will do a price adjustment once I get the new bag. Frustrated
