Duffle obsessed again. In September 2012 I got my first duffle in emerald for my bday. I subsequently got black and cognac in large but I didn't like the large duffle as well as I liked the regular size and sold my two larges. Recently I got the smokin' deal on textured vermillion and marine duffles on FOS and today I ordered the black from FOS. Now I have 4. Seems like a good round number.

Today i was in town with my marine legacy and began rain, i noticed that leather where rain droped was way more darker color and after that leather wasnt so smooth like on another side of my duffle.. Is this leather so delicate?

I haven't noticed any problems with the leather. I have duffles in cognac and mustard and so far no issues, but I've never had them in the rain. I was worried about the mustard duffle getting scratched but so far so good. Did it get better once it dried???

Did the color even out when it dried?

Maybe take a damp cloth or sponge and go over the whole bag to even it out.
I had a bag that would get spotty with the rain, and when I would wipe it down evenly it would look OK when it dried.

The leather became spoty especialy then i look in the daylight :(
Did keep black violet and black one then they will come or return .. I don't want to worry about my bag! I need one to go threw rain or snow!

I think the same thing happened to me. I got caught in the rain with my marine duffle and noticed a lot of dark spots. The spots went away after it dried but the leather doesnt look as smooth. :hrmm:

maybe somebody knew if protect duffles with apple guard rain&stain repellent?

i love my duffle so much!

I'm late to the party, but I just received my first large duffle in cognac that I ordered last week from FOS. I'm in Duffle Love! I wore it yesterday and received so many compliments. Already stalking eBay for other colors! (Oh no!) :graucho:


I love it so much I decided to make a purse organizer for it. I found a good video on YouTube and adapted it. It works so well, I decided to make a smaller one for my other FOS snag, tourmaline Molly too :cool::cool::cool:

Glad you love and that is cool that you are making your own organizers! Is it hard?

Too cool! I'd love to see a pic of the bag from the outside too. I have this same one on the way and I'm wondering about a purse organizer for it. :-)
