My e/w cognac duffle came today and unfortunately I will be returning it to the outlet on Friday.

Like someone else posted, there is already a bit of corner wear on two corners. Other than that, it appears brand new and was well wrapped (all zipper pulls wrapped even the inside pocket one, tassels wrapped, and overall wrapped).

I was going to offer it to a friend if I ended up not liking the style, but I don't feel right offering a bag that already shows signs of wear. :(

I've seen others mention that maybe it's more of an issue with cognac. Has anyone else gotten theirs this week and how was it?

Aww I'm so sorry to hear that! I just rechecked my corners and they're perfect (just got her last week). She is in the line up w/ others to be sprayed w/ apple guarde. I'm also going to put on some extra conditioner around those corners. I have a colorblock large duffle that is showing some minor corner wear. I never knew/thought about it since I bought the bag before I started really going on tpf. So I never sprayed or conditioned her beforehand. Honestly never noticed the wear until I started reading threads about it and then I checked. Ah well...live and learn. :shrugs:

May I ask how long it took to receive your recent orders, please? I placed my order on the 18th and it hasn't shipped yet. I called them yesterday morning to double-check and they said it could take another 2 days before it even leaves the warehouse. I'm going on vacation next week and am really worried it will arrive while I'm gone now. How can it take 4 days just to leave their warehouse? Their shipping policy states it takes 3-7 days to receive an order in the U.S. Did your orders take longer than 7 days to receive? TIA!

Yes it can take that long, depending on how busy they are, weekends, etc.
Also it can take like 10 days just to get to CA because they use the slow shipping method if one uses their free shipping.

I placed my order on May 14 (early morning) and got a shipping notice on May 15. I received my order on May 20, and I am in Texas.

Sorry that your order is taking so long!

I ordered on 5/14 and it shipped 5/15, received it the 16th. I live in the same state so that's probably not the most fair representation lol. They ship through ups and if you sign up for their One Choice I believe you can change the date of delivery and/or to do pick-up instead, for a small fee - maybe $5?. Signing up is free it's just a small charge to utilize certain features...I only use the free part that notifies me the day before my package is delivered. Something worth checking out if you're afraid it might be delivered while you're on vaca. You don't want a bag sitting on your porch for that long period of time - I know I wouldn't!!

Wow, that is super-fast! I'm so jealous (of both of you)! I just got my ship notification this morning and it won't arrive until next Wednesday so I will definitely be on vacation... I'll just ask my daughter to come home for lunch and put it inside. I'm really bummed though because I wanted to use my new iPad pouch and luggage tag for my vacation. I don't understand why it takes so long to ship to California. It would help if they, at least, packed it up and sent it off sooner (3 days to leave their warehouse is ridiculous!) How do you select quicker shipping? I would've paid for shipping in order to get it sooner, but didn't see the option for it...

I didn't see an option for quicker shipping, but I was in a hurry because my invitation was about to expire, so maybe I overlooked it. Oh well, my fault then...

I just peeked on FOS...and they have an express shipping option for $17.50 and it says 2-5 business days, instead of the other option 3-7 days. Pretty pricey, but I guess if you want to get your items a few days quicker. That's a bummer about not getting your order till after vaca! :sad: At least you'll have something fun waiting for you when you get back! :smile1:

Well I conditioned her (extra on the corners!) and apple guarded her so she's good to go! I'll have to put up a pic later.

I was conditioning and spraying down several bags today...one of them being my mom's cobalt mini duffle I bought her (it was hard to let that one go!!). I was remembering how much I love those minis! They are just soooo darn cute!!! FOS needs to pop some more up there. I don't own one, but I'm thinking I might need one on my life! :heart:

FOS had the Deep Port mini duffle a few sales ago, I got that one and I have Cognac from when they first came out, they're small but adorable! I hope FOS gets some more.
