Hello. I would like to start my H journey at a Las Vegas store. Any recommendations on which is the best in the terms of patient/friendly SAs? Appreciate the feedback.
I feel like the SAs are cold at the Wynn! Crystals is big but the SAs don’t seem nice there either. I shops at bellagio and while the location is small, I feel like my SA treats me well and I was able to get a Constance with not much pre spend

Been to he crystals today and all SAs are cold as heck haha
I feel like this is most H SAs in the U.S. when you’re a walk-in client. Any time I visit a store that isn’t my home store (and by visit, I mean an appointment with my SA at my home store), they all start off pretty cold. I suspect they get hassled about bags all day long and, with random walk-in clients, they don’t kbow up front what kind of customer they’re getting. So they’re cautious. Guarded even. Plus H prioritizes SA-client relationships, which I think adds to this behavior when working with a walk-in. However, in most cases I have found SAs lighten up the more you talk to them. When you are respectful of them and their time, when they realize you know and appreciate the brand, when its clear you aren’t going to hassle them for a QB, etc. The Overheard thread, if you haven’t read it, is quite eye-opening about what H SAs deal with all day long. I wouldn’t be shocked if the scary customer behavior breeds this coldness on some level.

Yeah. True. But at the end of the day, they work in retail. Simple hello, or how are you or even a smile would be nice. No one forced them to stand there. As much as they want to be respected, they should respect their customers. Other than Hermes, is there a store that gets away with such behavior, or we should know “how it works?”. Even if i am not a customer with a profile built, or im just a waste of their time because I have a home store with a designated SA, they should be at least more friendlier and cater to the customer in front of them and be more professional.

Oh, I agree with you! I don’t like having to work so hard to spend my money. I would much rather they assume noble intent, then up the guarded behavior if my behavior as a customer warrants it. But that said, unless something drastic happens, like sales plummet, I think we’re stuck with this for the foreseeable future. I will say I’ve noticed some softening of their behavior since spring of this year, which does have me wondering what sales are really like right now. While I can’t say they’ve all magically become friendly, I am seeing more warmth from the get go and a greater willingness to assist than even just last year.

As anyone else had slow offers at the Bellagio store this year? I've had only 1 bag this year... SO came in January and that's it. Not even a Constance! B30 offer in July, turned down. My spending is decent..consistent..already more than 1.5 easy..prob more than 2..lost count! I feel like last year it was easier to get offers. Not sure what's up?!

I have no purchase history in all of America aside from a twilly at each of the two California boutiques I visited for first time ever while visiting family recently. Each visit I was immediately offered a non quota bag within 10 minutes of looking at twillies.

I’m not playing the H game. I travel quite a bit and like various luxury brands so America’s H games just wouldn’t work or vibe with me.

I was just shopping for twillies and left with 1 or 2 twillies depending if they boutiques had inventory. That’s another thing that puts me off — wasting my time waiting / hunting, especially when it’s a luxury brand. Life’s too short.

I agree with this forum. Having a good SA at any luxury boutique, not just H, is a must so what you want is ready to go when you go in.

I will travel to specific cities or countries for my various favorite SAs when they have found items I want.
